susanm - It's really never too early to get frustrated. I remember crying by month 2. haha Also, hopefully you don't have to get to month 6, but if you do, it's surprisingly comforting to get the testing done and find out any problems. Then you can come up with a plan.

susanm and @rajahbmfd I really hope this is the month for you! Keeping everything crossed! engr0308 I'm with LMC. I hope you get whatever result you want, but I would love a baby engr. I guess I sort of go here? We are officially NTNP, and will probably be tracking/actually TTC once H starts his job. (Stupid background check stuff is taking forever.) H was so cute about it. He was like, "well, I think it's just time for us to move forward, you know? We've put it off long enough and I think it's just time." Well yes, H, I do know, because I've been saying this for a year! LOL I cannot wait for a little B or little E. Our kids are going to be BFFs.

I'm going to post here too. I started temping and we're just waiting for after our cruise because of that stupid virus. BIL just got engaged so we're also waiting to find out when the wedding is because he may be getting married in another state that would require flying. But we're gearing up! Sort of terrifying, but really exciting at the same time!

@rajahbmfd FX you get that BFP on Saturday! With both of my pregnancies I didn't get a BFP until 13DPO, so you're absolutely not out yet!

I scheduled an appointment with my OB/GYN for next month. I hoping she can give me good advice about our cruise. We've been talking and depending on what she says, we may not be getting off the ship in St. Thomas. So we'll see.

I'd love to go somewhere warm for a nice trip, but I'm just too scared to go anywhere.

If we could have afforded a vacation while during pregnancy I am so happy I am not. There is many girls on my month board who are getting tested for Zika. Luckily so far no one has gotten it but I feel for those women.

I mean, if it were up to me and wouldn't cause WWIII, I'd have canceled the cruise because I'm not sure how much fun I'm going to have with this stress. But. My ILs paid for it. No matter how well we explain things and the risks, they would never forgive us if we canceled. That's why we're waiting for my doctor's appointment. If my doctor says not to go, we won't go, end of story. I don't care who's feelings get hurt or if I have to pay my ILs back for the money they'll be out for me and H, I'm not taking a risk and potentially having a kid with server birth defects that I caused because I wanted to go on vacation. Nope, not happening. But if the doctor says its OK to go and stay on the ship, that's what we'll do. I just have to wait a month to see.

I see it!!! I see it! I see it!!
No idea about false positives on old tests. I would think you'd be more likely to get a false negative because whatever detects the hcg gets old, not the other way around.
