I had a bunch of ultrasounds too. I had three ultrasounds in one day. (both ERs did one and the one ER did an internal one) Another around 11 weeks. One at 20 weeks. Another at 25 weeks due to not seeing all of her heart at 20 weeks. My last one was at 40 weeks.

I've only had two ultrasounds (NT scan and anatomy scan) and my OB said there won't be any more unless there is a concern. I was surprised that they wouldn't do NSTs because I'm AMA, but I was told they haven't been shown to be of any benefit in my population. I guess I'm a fan of evidence-based medicine but a little sad that I won't get to see my baby again until he's born.

I had tons of ultrasounds- early bc of my ectopic, then monthly after 18 weeks because of the single umbilical artery to check for growth restrictions (which, HAHAHAHAHAHA). Then two quickie ones at the end to confirm she was head down. Then 2 at the hospital to confirm the suspicion that she was face up/to check if she had spun around. Next pregnancy will be so weird for me if I have the standard number because I had SO MANY this time. Right? My doctor and I have joked about this. I was seeing her 4 times a year between paps and colposcopies, then every 2 weeks for a long stretch to check my cervix. I told her I'll have to get KU again soon because I'll miss her by then. :-p The one that was the head of my surgery would always come in and check on me at my appointments (she only took on high risk patients) and said she is going to miss seeing me all the time. I honestly think she was just as excited to meet T as much as H and I were. H thinks its due to the paper she is writing about my case but I think she cares that much since we were in her daily prayers.

I just had my 32 week appointment. My blood pressure is high, which I'm pretty sure is anxiety-related. My OB didn't seem concerned about it, especially when I told her I've been checking it at home and it's been within normal range. And my urine has no protein in it, so no signs of pre-e. I'll just keep on checking it intermittently at home. Otherwise baby's growth and heartbeat are all good. I was given the package of paperwork to fill in for L&D, which sort of freaked me out, and had my Tdap. I'm suddenly feeling extremely unsure about this whole thing.

I had an appointment on Friday. Belly was measuring in at 35 weeks (hit 35 weeks on Saturday), right on target. Buuuut, I didn't gain any weight according to the scale in the 2.5 weeks since my last appointment. Noticed my face is looking a bit thinner, as was my back- Chipmunchkin is gaining a little, I'm losing a little, and it's evening out!!
Next appointment is in May, and will have an ultrasound and estimations on weight.
