Also as much as I know I'm going to want to barf when they put the abx in my IV tomorrow, I'm so ready for it to be here because my left ovary feels like it weighs 1300 pounds.

It did not go well. I had a ton of follies. Somehow it seems that I managed to ovulate through the Ganirelix. Nothing out of the right ovary. Six eggs total. Last time we had like 1/3 mature. I am devastated.

4 mature, all 4 fertilized. They're freezing them NOW which I wasn't aware of. I have to talk to my doctor about this.

Apparently they freeze them at the 2PN stage? That way we don't have to worry about losing any, but the problem is they don't know if they're any good at that stage. Just that they fertilized. I'm waiting on a call back from the nurses.

Freezing the embryos at this point is a pretty good thing. They wouldn't freeze them if they seemed to be dividing incorrectly.
And honestly? FET tends to have a higher success rate at many clinics. It allows your body time to heal from stims and get back to a "good" place, especially if you are facing OHSS.
I got OHSS from my stims. My doctor prescribed me a medication to help - and we almost did a freeze all. I forget the name of the med, but I can find it if you'd like.
Other advice I've heard to help with OHSS is to drink lots of Gatorade for the electrolytes. And to take it as easy as possible.
Your ovaries are inflamed and angry right now - and very delicate, even after the retrieval. Yours must be especially so if they've decided to go with a freeze all, so please be careful. You'll be in a sensitive place until you get your next menstrual cycle and your hormones stabilize.

2PN basically means that the embryos have 2 distinct nuclei - 1 from the egg and 1 from the sperm. It means that they fertilized normally (versus situations where 2 sperm may have penetrated one egg)
It's a good thing

I just spoke with the lab again. I guess what they do is thaw them all. Seems really scary. They might do a 3dt, either way they take the rest out to blast stage. If the rest make it to that, they refreeze. I'm super nervous. I guess whether they thaw them or not, they're either good or bad. I'm super scared of the possibility that they'll all be thawed and all crap out again.

I've got everything crossed for your frosties LMC!!! I'm so sorry that this cycle isn't turning out as you had expected. We're all rooting for you! Take care of yourself.

How well have you researched this RE?
Have you checked them out on SART?
Not to be offensive (and whatever to those whom doubt my motivations here) but what are their FET success rates? There is something that bugs me about them wanting to thaw all the embies and then wait to re-freeze that bothers me.
You're at a 2PN phase. Everything should be about the same. It doesn't make a lot of sense to defrost all embies at once...and then refreeze.
How many RE's have you consulted with?

FWIW - I had 8 embryos. We transferred the top 2 at day3. I have 6 frosties they froze on the morning of day3.
Had my transfer NOT been successful? My RE would have de-frosted 2 at a time.
Every time you defrost an embie, it's dangerous and risks damage and/or failure to the embie.
Your loss showed zero genetic issues. There's no reason for your RE to want to go to a day 3 or 5 for you.
I would want to know why they want to defrost more than 2 embies for a FET.
At your age and health - most RE's wouldn't consider transfer of more than 2.

Sending positive energy to your frosties! Last I checked, this was an open forum. And I'm someone that has gone through ART and had success. Not by accident. It took 3 RE's - because I didn't know better at first. And countless hours of reading and researching to find the final RE that not only got me pregnant - but was the one to catch my preeclampsia prior to my MFM or OB and start me on medications that likely allowed me to get to 33 weeks gestation with my pregnancy. And until you've faced IF and gone through ART - you just don't get it. Not all RE's are created equal and there is a TON of information out there about them. LMC can take or ignore me - That's completely up to her. But there may very well be people here today or reading this in the future that don't know enough to research an RE on SART and look at FET success rates, look to see their success rates with 2PN transfers, etc and ALL of that makes a HUGE difference when a person is struggling with IF and dumping tens of thousands of dollars into a wish and a prayer of a take home baby. I really don't care what you all think of me. My advice is this matter is sound.

Research or not, I'd advise someone to speak to their doctor, not take advice from you. Oh and I thought you only came around here because we talk about you. No one has said a word about you in months. Why are you here? Didn't you report this forum so Proboards would take it down? You know where they do take shitty advice? Baby Center. Try there.

@drexelkathy any time you decide to comment on LMC or on the path she is taking here, and the obstacles she is so graciously trying to overcome you better be prepared for the rest of us to nail your ass to the wall. You are not helping anyone here.

Also, @drexelkathy , why is it that you seem to pop up here just to antagonize LMC? This time and the last time, you've said horrible, judgmental, condescending shit to her. She is one of the nicest people here. She does not deserve that. You know why she picks on the nicest one here? the same reason psychopaths kill kittens; it makes her feel big and powerful, when in actuality she is only a mere spot on the bottom of my shoe. Exactly. She knows LMC is too nice to fight back, and quite frankly, I also think she knows we will defend LMC anytime Kathy says shit to her. I think a big part of it is using LMC as bait to get a rise out of the rest of us. We won't stand for it, Bitch.

To the TTC ladies I apologized on @drexelkathy's behalf (because you know she'd never apologize herself) for ruining your June thread.
