Good morning, ladies.
It's Thursday! And it's my Friday, since I'm treating myself to a three-day weekend! Things are picking up a lot at work, so I'm really looking forward to taking an extra day to chill.
I also had this fantastic conversation with H this morning while I was getting dressed, and he was still half-asleep:
H: Do we have any ancient creatures in the kitchen? Me: ... I hope not. Why? H: Failure to dream.
LOL! No, I'm pretty sure that's succeeding to dream.
How are you all doing today?

Lol!
We got our hope chest moved in last night! When I'm done with breakfast I'll see what I can do about posting a picture.

LINGERLONGER I can't wait to see a picture. I feel like I'm the troll living under the bridge this week. The grumpiest grump that ever did grump.

H does a lot of weird middle of the night talking. The other night he shouted “happy Halloween!” at the top of his lungs. I nearly had a heart attack.
Feeling tired today. I got some baby stuff organized in her room, and my mountain of laundry is slowly shrinking. Now if the bathroom would just clean itself!

That hope chest is beautiful, LINGERLONGER! I started my morning off with a trip to the vet for Pico. Sigh. He has recurring conjunctivitis stemming from FHV. The vet didn't seem super concerned since he's eating and behaving normally, but she prescribed an oral antibiotic and an anti-viral eye drop to try to kick the active infection. I'm glad he doesn't seem bothered by it, but I'd really rather not make frequent trips to the vet. Now I'm enjoying my coffee before I jump into work.

LINGERLONGER the chest looks great! You guys did an amazing job. efmcc67 lol @ YH I drugged myself to sleep last night after I was a total failure in nosework class. I feel more functional today. I'm going to leave work at lunchtime to run some errands. I'm hoping to make an appointment to replace the shitty infotainment system in my new car to something with Android for Auto. I have a ton of driving to do in November and a fully functional entertainment system would be awesome.

LINGERLONGER The chest looks awesome! I’ve been looking on Etsy for some cute prints to hang up in the baby room, and one seller who has some things that I like lets you purchase the print as a download and print it yourself. It’s cheaper and you don’t have a shipping cost. Obviously, you would want to do a high quality print so where would you go/send the file to be printed? Would something like Shutterfly be the way to go?

I've heard good things about printing at Costco, but I don't have any personal experience with it, so YMMV.

Enjoy your day off efmcc67! And LOL at that conversation. I wonder if he remembers it... That chest is beautiful LINGERLONGER. I haven’t been around lately, so you might’ve said this already, but where did you get it from? Poor Pico eba1012. Is the conjunctivitis something that could pass onto Luna? @echappe86 Id probably look into loca print shops before trying Shutterfly

AND we have snow again. WTF Mother Nature. I know it’s normal for here, but I’m not ok with it. Snow is only allowed between November and March. It looks absolutely miserable outside.

Poor Pico eba1012 . Is the conjunctivitis something that could pass onto Luna? Thankfully, no. It's a symptoms of a virus that they both have. It's just dormant until it's not. She said if Luna isn't already showing symptoms, then she probably won't. Plus, Pico's immune system is still developing, whereas Luna's is much stronger.
