LINGERLONGER booo to your Grinch H lol I hope your soreness is better today. ven All of that sounds so delicious..yum. Good luck with the mock trial eba1012 Is there another vet at the practice? Poor little guyI'm on my way to see H. I had to get up earlier than normal so I am tired right now. We're going to see TLJ when I get in, so I'm excited for that too. There is, and I may call the office to see if I can get him in today or tomorrow. But if not, Tuesday is the earliest we could get him in anyway. Both vets we've seen for this eye issue have basically said that as long as his appetite and behavior are unchanged, it's not emergent. His immune system just needs time to catch up, since he's only 8 months old. He doesn't seem to be bothered by it at all. He doesn't even paw at it. I'm so jealous that you're seeing TLJ. We aren't going for another week--wahhhhhhh. I'm glad he doesn't seemed bothered by it, but I can totally understand how distressing it is for you.

I literally cried to H last night because "my babyyyyyyy is sick!" Shockingly he didn't roll his eyes at me, and said it upsets him too. He's such a good cat dad lol.

Hiiiii bart85! Welcome back! You and ven will have plenty to chat about re: nosework. You are my hero for doing a half marathon. I did 30 minutes on the elliptical last night and wanted to die.

eba1012 righthandman Hiiiii! It's good to be back <3 Don't give me too much credit for the half just yet. I've done a couple of 3 mile runs this week, but hadn't run more than 2 miles at a time in 6+ months so there's a good chance this doesn't pan out

If I could finish a half this year, I'm pretty sure damn near anyone can finish one if you work at it. You are right there where I started when training began. You can do it! Do you have a plan to follow?

Do you have a plan to follow? I do - I'm using the Hal Higdon Novice 1 plan, which is what I used for the other two half marathons I've done. I will say, the muscle memory has been pretty impressive. The runs are tough, but this area is also really hilly, and I've finished all 3 mile runs in 36-37 minutes, so it's definitely not as bad a starting point as it could be.

Welp, that or HHN2 was exactly what I was going to suggest. I think you're definitely in good shape as far as starting points go. Eta: Plus, if you've done this before, you're golden.

I'm at work until 12 and then it's home for the weekend! I'm currently impatiently waiting for an email from a professor as I think he made a mistake with my grade and I want to make sure it is resolved ASAP. Sorry your trial got cancelled ven! I hope your back feels well enough to go to the party and I'm sorry you don't get to celebrate Christmas like you want LINGERLONGER. I just kind of force my H to do what I want, but he's more apathetic than actually against the holiday. Hi bart85! Welcome back.

Welcome back bart85! Yay for trying nosework! Every couple of months I look at the requirements of the CGC test and think we can pass about 70% of it... but she's too excited around people/dogs to sit politely for greetings. Maybe when she's a little older we'll give it a shot.

Maybe when she's a little older we'll give it a shot. The bolded is my biggest concern, too. I will say, she's always the star of obedience classes - she is laser focused on me and will do anything I ask, so there's a chance she passes, but when she's out in the real world, all bets are off. She really loved the nosework though. It was a free, two hour intro class, she did two searches, looking for hot dogs. She charged into the search area, nose to the ground and usually found them pretty quickly. She's like her mama - always on the hunt for food

sarahbelle I hope your grade gets sorted out quickly. Enjoy the half day, too! My team is going to lunch from noon to 2, like most teams are. Only the other teams have said they are going home after, and mine has not...

I'm concerned he will try to take over because of my surgery, but these are things I can accomplish quickly and easily so fuck him I'd love to make the cinnamon rolls from scratch but I'll have to buy pillsbury ones. His is spices just showed up, guys. I was hoping to intercept them but the mail lady put them on the ground
