Discovered this afternoon, when I went to run quicky errands....I can't wear my sandals anymore without first having my feet up for a good hour or two. This includes my adjustable strap ones. I am, however, able to slip on a pair of DH's flippies...wider foot for the thong of the sandal, and while they're big in the toe and heel on me, my feet are swollen enough that the thong stays in place. Ridiculous. This means I can pop this kid out, right? I think it should mean I can serve eviction papers this weekend....

FWIW, entropicbeauty, I felt fine after both the 1 hr and the 3 hr, aside from being hungry and thirsty for water. I was diagnosed as "borderline" so I've been monitoring since March. While I felt like a bad person/terrible mother, as if I'd somehow failed my baby, I found that I could still enjoy an occasional treat and just had to increase my protein/veggie intake by comparison. Every time my sugar has spiked above the parameters, I could pinpoint exactly what the cause was, such as having a little extra pasta at dinner, or splitting an appetizer with DH on date night. The hardest thing to cut out was light white grape juice- juice of any kind was considered too sugary, and the light white grape had become my morning staple drink, since OJ was too acid tasting, and milk and pre-natals just didn't mix well.

Cross Post from today's main thread....supervisor just called to tell me we're getting "early release" for holiday weekend at 3 pm tomorrow, so 2 hours of free admin time rather than having to use leave time.
I've already nearly worked off the 2 hours of sick time I scheduled for tomorrow for doctor's appointment, so that's more time I don't have to take before maternity leave.
Supervisor- "so, go into labor at 3:01, enjoy the freebie admin time, and keep us posted on when Chipmunchkin arrives." I love this woman :-)

I am the idiot that drank a pepsi after the glucose test. I don't actually recall how I felt now or anything about my tour that day. I may of had a a sugar high.

Back from the 39 week appointment (detailed in May appointment thread). Looks like I might be here long enough to start one last Monday thread on Memorial day.
