I've used pregnancy.com for week by week updates and just general internet searches for more specific questions. I've found that the books like What to Expect and Girlfriend's Guide are awesome when you're first pregnant and want to read all about it, but then get set aside within a few weeks (for me at least).
There are certain hair dyes that are safe and some that aren't. If you get it done at the salon, just make sure to mention that you're pregnant and they can guide you to safe choices. I haven't done the research on which at home dyes are safe.
You can drink tea. Like @xcalygrl said, there are some restrictions on / recommendations against caffeine (my OB told me one caffeinated drink a day was okay), so I tend to drink my caffeine as coffee and then drink caffeine free teas. Hot tea was the only thing that even remotely calmed my morning sickness (well, that and McDonald's french fries, but tea is obviously better) so I would have been sad to give it up.
I've said this a lot on here, but I'll repeat it for anyone who hasn't heard me say it before - books and the interwebs will pretty much tell you that everything is a danger to your growing baby. I think you have to pick and choose what you follow in order to not go totally insane.
