So my complaints this week: why do people insist on telling me that there's no guarantee baby kwith will arrive by her due date? I'm not an idiot - I know there's nothing magical about this Friday that guarantees she'll be here by then. It seems like so many people are like, "Well, I went 10 days past my due date with my first, so you still could have a long haul in front of you". I know that, fuckers. That doesn't mean I'm going to stop hoping that she comes right this second.
This is proving to be a great lesson in what not to say to people.

I hope that you're feeling better! 2. Isn't it nice how people try to find something to talk about with you, only to make you feel annoyed/shitty/aggravated? I'd be irritated, too, if I were you. All better! And I had a sonogram last week to make sure it was nothing more serious than an infection, just in case, and it's not so I'm fine. Except now I have a rash on my boobs that my doctor thinks is probably related to the antibiotics, so I have to run out and get benadryl and hope it goes away. It's not too terrible or itchy, but is just one other thing to add to the list of "ways my body is rejecting me lately". At least I'm not in pain?

Frenchie, DD is the same way. She was so wiggly in utero, and she has not changed at all. kwith, I hope you don't get/haven't gotten too many bladder kicks. DD went through a week where she was at the perfect position to punch/kick/attack my bladder. It would give me a brief moment of panic that I was going to pee myself, which thankfully didn't happen. Luckily not yet. She does seem to be kind of sideways at the moment, and will occasionally stretch out so her feet go out my right side and her hands go out my left, and that feels bizarre, but no major bladder pressure, which is good.

Itchy boobs are the worst... you can't really itch them in public without looking like you're copping a feel on yourself! Mine itch like hell during the winter because of dry skin, so I have to lotion them up like a freak every time that I get out of the shower. I am pretty sure that TMI doesn't exist in pregnancy threads, so I feel okay posting this about myself. I hope that the Benadryl helps. Yep. Luckily I'm wearing a v-neck, so at least when I'm alone in my cubicle I have no qualms about subtly trying to itch. But yeah, it's no fun and is fine right now but if it gets worse I won't be a happy camper. I've had similar issues with antibiotics in the past that Benadryl has handled like a champ, so I'm really hoping that's the case here too. And you're right, no such thing as TMI. I don't get super itchy here in general, but when I live in CO or NV where it's drier, wintertime itchiness is the worst.

Something about a woman being pregnant brings out the strangers who think they know better. I hate that.
