ultrasound tomorrow to follow up on my subchorionic hemorrhage. praying that it's at least smaller if not completely gone.
I had some more bleeding on Saturday night, but it was pretty much identical to the last "episode" and I am surprisingly calm about it. My OB said they'd get me in today if I wanted to, but at this point I'll just go in tomorrow as planned.

Hey guys! Trying not to clog up the general board too much with this so I'll put it here.
Today I crossed two milestones off the list:
-First time I've ever had a good second ultrasound. Does this even make sense? I've always had good first ultrasounds but the follow up has always gone badly. -First good ultrasound I've ever had past 7 weeks! Everything was measuring right on track for around 8 weeks with a great heartbeat!
Woo hoo!

thanks everyone! it wasn't all perfect news, which i almost forgot in my excitement. my subchorionic bleed is still there and, from what I could tell, it has grown in the past couple weeks. that explains the bleeding. I just want it to go away now.

Thursday I go in for an ultrasound to see baby's position. How far along were you other ladies when you did this (past or present pregnancies)? I'll be almost 30 weeks and feel like it's kind of early. My friend who is pregnant just went in for hers last week at 34.5 weeks. And I haven't seen anyone on my BMB talk about going in for this yet. Maybe because she was breech at my last ultrasound? Not that it matters, just thought it was a little odd. No complaints here though, I can't wait to see baby again!

ktmac, so happy you had another good ultrasound! Is there a way to fix the bleeding without harming the baby? not really. i'm waiting for my doc to call to see if they want me on bedrest, which i don't want to do, but would do of course. otherwise it's just ... praying that it goes away. they usually do, but my history of "it's usually fine" isn't the greatest. so we'll see.

nsweare Interesting, I had no idea they could tell position by feeling from the outside. I'm always wondering which body part is poking out of my belly.

ass That does sound out of the ordinary. I would totally be up for weekly ultrasounds though (as long as everything is still okay with the LO)! Pretty sure this is my last one. Glad I get to at least see her once more.

Glad I get to at least see her once more. I'm really not sure of their reasoning but I wasn't complaining. The machine wasn't very high tech though so we (H and I) had a hard time distinguishing things. They also did weight checks but I didn't truly trust that. I really don't now. I think my girlfriend, who also had GD, had weekly ultrasounds to check size and positioning.

I had an OB appointment this morning. I have lost three pounds since my appointment a few weeks ago. I know I was sick the last couple days, but I feel like I was eating like a horse before that. I've only gained 12 lbs so far, none in the third tri, I am also measuring about a week behind. I am feeling guilty, and my OB was not thrilled with my weight. Ugh. Boo. I'm sorry your OB made you feel bad. You're doing the best you can and your baby will be just fine. (((Hugs)))

Just had my appointment this morning.
Both of the nurses from last appointment and this appointment made mistakes.
Nurse from last appointment shouldn't have scheduled this appointment for today...it should have been in another 2 weeks (last appointment was only 2 weeks ago).
Also, the u/s wasn't today, it will be at my next appointment in another 4 weeks. But Dr. did measure me and felt a bit and said that it felt like baby's head is downward right now.
Nurse from today transposed the numbers of my weight when she entered them into the computer. So Dr. was like, "I do want you to start watching what you're eating and try to be active because you've gained 10 pounds from last appointment" I was really confused and told her that we've been walking almost every day and I'm using hand weights and I didn't feel like I was going overboard with eating. And then she realized that my last appointment was only 2 weeks ago and it would be a lot to gain 10 pounds in 2 weeks, so she had the nurse check my weight again.
This isn't the first time they've made mistakes either, and it's getting kind of annoying! But whatever, baby and I are healthy, so that's good.

So my next OB appointment is a week from today. I have to do my 3 hr glucose test prior to that appointment (admittedly I've been putting it off). The office is about 30 minutes away. My car has decided to take a big fat dump. It's technically drivable, but I don't feel comfortable driving it that far. I can't use H's car because he also has a 30 minute drive to work. We're planning on trading my car in sometime in the near future because it's teeny tiny and won't comfortably fit 2 car seats. So my dilemma involves finding time to either shop for a new car, fix the old car (even though it's not worth it), or find some other way to get to my glucose test and then appointment next week. Also complicating things is that I can't take DD with me to my glucose test and don't have any way to get her to my IL's house because they live an hour away. Oh, and H is going out of town next week for a work conference and will be driving his car to said conference. Gah!

nsweare - Could you do your glucose test at a phlebotomy lab at a local hospital? Usually they'll have weekend hours, at least Saturday hours, so your H could drop you off and pick you up if he doesn't have to work. Our network doesn't have any labs in our town. I have to use a very specific healthcare system and the closest lab location is a 30 minute drive. Womp Womp. Neither of us have ever used the public transit system in our area, but I may check into that. I'm pretty sure there is a stop pretty close by that would take H to his building downtown. I think. I need to do some more research. But then I can use his car. (I don't want to be on a bus if I end up puking after the testing)

nsweare Stinks that you're having car troubles! Could you ask your ILs to come to you instead of taking DD over there? And then take an Uber (do you guys have that?) or some sort of public transportation to your appointment? ETA: Oh yeah, it would be better if you could have your DH use public transportation and you take his car. Although driving a half an hour after taking the 3-hour glucose test might be rough--definitely take food with you!
