@lolo - Don't freak out. It's probably a note more indicative of your EDD--maybe they'll want to consider adjusting your EDD by a few days. Remember, u/s are not a perfect science, and babies are small still, so getting accurate measurements can be difficult. Your doctor would definitely let you know if there was reason for concern. I'm worried my sister was right. Your sister is NOT right. Even a couple days difference in conception can make a big difference in the size of a fetus. Even if you know exactly what day your BDing made baby, there can still be fluctuations in exactly when you ovulated/conceived/implanted. I know exactly when H and I conceived DD. We were in law school and it was shortly before finals so there wasn't much BDing going on. Based on my LMP and the date I conceived, my EDD should have been 12/18. But apparently I ovulated much later than would be normal and H has super strong sperm because based on my ultrasounds she was actually conceived an entire week later. Despite not having had sex since the conception. The tech said she was measuring small, but really it was just a timing thing. My point is, you're doing just fine. (((Hugs)))

I know I ovulated on 1/9 though, nsweare. I understand. I know it's really frustrating, but you're seriously not doing anything wrong. I lost 30 lbs the first trimester of this pregnancy. I was able to eat nothing. I had a similar experience with DD. The doctors were never concerned about the size of my baby because those little vampires take take take. The female body is wondrous in that it knows to feed the baby before feeding the mom. Nature is more than happy to let you suffer, but it's not going to let the baby suffer. So even if you were trying to keep the baby small (which we all know you're not), your body would likely give you the middle finger and pop out an 11 pounder. You could also eat like it's going out of style and birth a 5 pounder.
I know it's super hard, and mom-guilt starts early yo, but try to cut yourself some slack. You're doing great. We ALL know you're doing great. I'm sending you all the hugs and all the love.
ETA: Or exactly what @daubachsgirl23 said.

@lolo Ditto what everyone else said. If your doctor was concerned, they would tell you. At my first u/s baby was technically measuring small with a June 24th EDD, LMP EDD is June 19th, based on my O date it's June 20th, and at 20 weeks so she was measuring with a June 21st EDD. I've just consistently referenced June 20th as my EDD because that's easier than having 4 different EDDs.

I had more bleeding last night. I'm going for my second ultrasound of the week this afternoon because I'm a crazy person. I'm so grateful for a doc who lets me be crazy. I don't think I have any reason to worry because it was very similar to the first two bleeds I had with this one, but for the first time in a few weeks I'm scared.

ktmac I have a dumb question- what is MFM? not a dumb question - Maternal-Fetal Medicine they are the ones who check you into the hospital if you're pregnant, but my appointments with them will be because i am now considered high risk.

(( ktmac)) I hope the MFM is helpful. Do they want you on bedrest until the appointment? the same "modified" bedrest i have been doing. just no .. pushing, pulling, lifting, sex, activity. not strictly laying in bed with my feet up. at least not yet, and i really hope it doesn't come to that but we will see.

So I'm sitting at the doctors waiting to get this 3 hr glucose test started. I do NOT want to be waiting around because the longer it takes to get this thing started the longer I sit here. I seriously considered blowing this thing off and telling my doctor I just hadn't had time to do it. But I couldn't bring myself to do it.
The good news is, the transportation issue worked itself out because we traded in my busted car for a new SUV. (Well new to me anyway)

Oooo what kind of SUV did you get, nsweare? I hope your test gets started quickly, and good luck! Thanks! I just got my fasting blood drawn and drank the gross. My last draw will be at 12:50. We got a 2012 Kia Sorento LX. It's so shiny. I feel like a grown-up. It turns out my little Pontiac sunfire was done for. It was going to need at least two grand worth of work. I'm so happy to FINALLY have a vehicle that feels reliable. We've been dealing with car repairs constantly the past two years.

We've been dealing with car repairs constantly the past two years. Kia Sorentos are so pretty! When H got a new car last year, we looked at a Sorento. He ended up getting a Nissan Rogue, but I think the Sorento is so much better looking, and I remember it having pretty awesome storage in the back, too. It has a ton of room in the back. We got one with optional third row seating which is great since the back row is pretty much all car seat.

Only one more blood draw to go. I have the worst veins and they're having a difficult time getting my blood. I've already had one vein blown and been poked numerous times. I'm used to it, but the nurses feel terrible, which makes me feel terrible. Only 1 more hour!

That is horrifying It wasn't really fun for me. I looked at the nurse, poked the fluid bubble in my wrist and said, "I don't think it's supposed to look like this..." I've never seen someone run quite that fast around a bed and remove an IV. Ahhhhh!!! I would have completely freaked out.

appointment with MFM was good! the little bean is doing great. we're going to start calling it Rocky bc it's a fighter. the SCH is still there, but there is no active bleeding, which is good - isn't it amazing what they can see on a ultrasound? It hasn't really grown or shrunk since Thursday, but she said because it's not directly next to the placenta, as long as it goes away and doesn't grow we should be fine. Unfortunately there is still no real game plan other than keep on keepin' on and pray that it gets smaller and that I don't have any more bleeding episodes. it was nice to get another look at little Rocky in the one view I could even see him/her move a little! so neat.

Just had an OB appointment. Everything is looking good. I'm actually gaining weight like I'm supposed to, so my doctor is thrilled. I'm still well below my pre-pregnancy weight, but as long as baby is growing well then there's nothing to be alarmed about. She did give me an order for an ultrasound to check size and positioning of BB2. My blood pressure and everything is good, so she said she see's no reason for me to come in for another 4 weeks. If the ultrasound shows something off, or I start feeling off, then she'll bring me in sooner, but otherwise 4 weeks will do. Then I'll start going weekly.
I also signed the paperwork to have my tubes tied in the even of a C-section, and I got my Tdap shot. I'm so relieved everything is going so well.
