@lolo I totally understand. If anything so much as grazes my nipples it makes me want to vomit. They are so sensitive. H is a total boob guy, but I can't stand him even looking at them. Ugh.

ugh I was hoping the boobs thing would get better and not worse. you guys ruined my day i'm just dealing with the usual first tri stuff ... EXHAUSTED and riding a roller coaster of nausea. It just comes and goes when it pleases and I can't even plan for it. At first it was in the evenings, but now it's all over the board. Wheeeeeeee! Also constipation and gaaaaaas. Sorry H.

Does this mean your apt yesterday went well? Yes! My second number was more than triple the first! So I'm pregnant and all is going great at this point!

So - I'm starting to think that my prenatal vitamins are making me sick. I couldn't take them (or anything else) when I had the flu, but since I've started back on them, I've been throwing up about half an hour after taking them. And it's weird, because it's not really food that's coming up - it's more like bile/mucus or something (sorry). I've switched the time of day, thinking that would help, but today, for example, I took them after school but before supper. I didn't make it through supper. Anyone else have this sort of issue? I take mine right before bed. Like literally brush my teeth and then take the prenatal before shutting off the bathroom light and going to bed (it also helps mask the "flavor" of the prenatal)

@jennylee- I haven't taken a prenatal since I was about 6 weeks. I have no doubt they'd make me sick now if i started back up. If they continue to make you sick talk to your OB. I had been taking prenatals for about 6 months before getting pregnant so my OB said it was NBD to stop taking them. But talk to your OB. They may just switch you to a different kind.

@lolo Glad the tatas are feeling better. Bigger boobs during pregnancy is one of the things I used to try to convince H to want kids at our age.... When that didn't work I was like "how about one implant for each kid?" This didn't work either. (I'm mostly joking but a teeny bit serious).

guys, someone touched my belly yesterday. i am not showing, i am just pudgy. Did you smack them? I was at church. I literally said "please don't rub my fat." It is someone who has three children of her own and yet I had to remind her that my baby is one inch long and uh no I'm not showing. I should have also said "regardless, please don't touch my without permission" but I didn't even think of it in the moment.

guys, someone touched my belly yesterday. i am not showing, i am just pudgy. We went to supper at a friend's house with another couple and their toddler. the little girl kissed my belly and said "bye baby" when she left. That is the only acceptable excuse for belly touching, IMO. I hope the person in your situation is now wearing a cast. this is adorable

@swimmy1988 - Your FIL sounds like a dick. I'm sorry. ktmac - I get that some people feel like a big, round preggo belly is community property, but who touches a first trimester belly?!? Seriously, who does that? Ugh, the commenting on the family planning is beyond annoying. H's family really can't understand why we want to stop at two. I hear, "Are you suuuuuuuuuure? What if you want another one? Don't you want to have a big family? Why nooooooooooot?" First, it's nunya business. Second, I'm 34, not 24. Third, H has no desire to be a single parent if my body can't handle another pregnancy. Fourth, did I mention it's nunya business? I get that in H's family it's the norm to have 5 or so kids and that they all start young. H's sister and SIL are both pregnant with their second child at 24 and 23 respectively. They want large families. Good for them. We've made peace with the fact that two children is what will be best for us. I don't have easy pregnancies and I don't want to tempt fate by putting my body through this again.

@swimmy - OMG how rude of FIL!
What rocks do people grow up under that they think it is ok to touch and/or comment on other people's stomachs? Cheese on a cracker...I think I will lose my marbles if anyone pokes or touches my stomach or comments on it.

Guys, when will I stop looking bloated/fat and start looking pregnant? I seriously look 9-10 months pregnant right now but it's obviously just bloat.

Guys, when will I stop looking bloated/fat and start looking pregnant? I seriously look 9-10 months pregnant right now but it's obviously just bloat. Well, I'm 32 weeks and really just started looking pregnant instead of chubby a couple of weeks ago.
At my hospital tour last night I was the furthest along with the smallest bump. I don't know why, but it makes me feel like a pregnancy failure. Totally irrational.
