@daubachsgirl23 - You look freakin fantastic! And I wouldn't know about being too pregnant for pants. I try not to wear pants as much as possible whether I'm pregnant or not.
1. How far along are you? I actually had to look at my calendar because I'm losing track. 32 weeks 5 days
2. Vents/rants/AWs? The usual discomforts. Some swelling in my hands and feet. I've perfected the waddle. I didn't waddle much with DD because I carried her so high. BB2 is so low it feels like he's practically falling out, hence the waddle.
3. How do you feel about extended rear-facing in car seats? (recommendations went from 1YO to close to 4YO in recent years) Honestly, I'm not a huge fan. I'm a grown ass woman of almost 35 and I'm mere inches from needing to be in a booster seat myself. I don't want to sound like I'm anti-safety, I'm just skeptical that the changes in regulations make that much of a difference. So I choose to follow the laws of our state. It's gotten to a point where it's nearly impossible for people to have large families anymore because there aren't vehicles that have room to hold several car seats until our kids are 30.
Random:
Favourite genre of literature (or film). I don't really have a favorite genre. I sadly don't read much anymore. As for films, I like comedies and supernatural horror movies (nothing slasher or too gory)

So I went shopping yesterday for a dress for a wedding in a couple weeks. I realized that flowy dresses are NOT looking real good right about now. The sales lady at the store asked me if I'd considered a maxi-dress. Hahahahahahahahahahahaha I'm five foot nothing and not exactly a waif. A maxi dress makes me look like an oompa loompa. When I got home I called my mom and told her that the sales lady recommended a maxi-dress and she busted up laughing as well. You guys, I wish I could really paint a picture of just how ridiculous I look in dresses like that.(This story is probably much funnier to me than it is to you all) Anyway, I found a nice dress that is more fitted and structured and doesn't make me look like an oompa loompa, so it all ended well.

I feel like my dress story falls into "cool story, bro" territory. Sorry guys.

I purchased this dress for the wedding in a couple weeks. It's navy and white (kind of hard to tell in the pic). I'm planning to throw a little white cardigan over it because I don't do sleeveless. It's a spring wedding so I'm not sure what to do about shoes. I'll be 35 weeks by then and want to be comfortable, however I absolutely cannot do flats. I have wide, flat feet and my knees and ankles can't handle them. Do I do a low-heeled strappy sandal? Do I do a pump? Navy, white, or nude? Normally I know exactly want I want shoe-wise, but I'm kind of stumped. www.destinationmaternity.com/productdetail_CloseUp.asp?Product_Id=96721Z10022&Category_Id=0022&MasterCategory_Id=MC3

Those are really cute, but I'm afraid they're a little too fancy for the dress. I like the idea of a low wedge sandal though!

1. 5 weeks, 6 days according to my fancy app thing.
2. I've got my first ultrasound Thursday! Cannot wait!
You ladies look amazing in your photos! And I totally agree with a little wedge with that dress.
Question: anyone else find they are/did "shed" more hair during early pregnancy? I'm wondering if this is a "thing" that I've never heard of or if I should mention it to the doctor Thursday

Postpartum you will go through a similar loss, but without the thickening/growth spurt after, as your hormones go back to normal. I also found that I had to wash my hair every day during the first tri, when I could go every other day before. I think I'm back to being able to do every other day now, but since my waves are extra wavy, I've been doing daily washings. If I ever get the patience to straighten it again, I'm thinking I could get a couple of days out of it. Thank you! It just started the end of last week/this weekend. I hope it goes from falling out to growing soon!

Thanks @jennylee and @swimmy1988 I don't know if "too pregnant to wear pants" is a real stage of pregnancy, but if it is, I'm officially there. I have been anti-pants since the end of the first trimester!

Can't believe I missed this thread yesterday!
1. How far along are you? 33w3d
2. Vents/rants/AWs? We got our stroller last week! (did I already tell you guys that?) We went with the Uppababy Vista and I love it! Also, I'm still feeling really good, sleeping through the night, peeing/pooping as normal, no back or joint pain, no Braxton Hicks, and I still don't have any stretch marks. I'm wondering when the rug is going to get pulled out from under me and all of those are going to change. I do get tired about halfway through the day though and I have no endurance. We are still going for regular walks though and I can still make it up the stairs to the 4th floor at work (the trek between 3rd and 4th are KILLER though).
3. How do you feel about extended rear-facing in car seats? (recommendations went from 1YO to close to 4YO in recent years) I had no idea that the recommendation was at 4YO now...that seems over the top to me. I imagine we'll make the switch around 1 year depending on LO's size.

Favourite genre of literature (or film).
Can't say I have a favorite. I like everything from Hunger Games, to Confessions of a Shopaholic, to Nicholas Sparks, to Dean Koontz.

Also, bump pic: Pretty sure I look bigger in person though! Especially considering that someone told me I looked like I was going to pop last week

@jennylee Beginning of my 2nd tri I had a couple of terrible cold/coughs too! I had a few bladder leaks because of the coughing too, thank God that went away!! After the cold/coughing went away I started feeling great. Hope you start feeling better and the rest of pregnancy is easy on you! nsweare Thanks so much, I appreciate you taking one for the team!

@daubachsgirl23 Thanks! I am extremely grateful that things are normal in the bathroom department for me right now. First Trimester me would be totally jealous of 2nd/3rd Trimester me.
