1. How far along are you? 33 weeks 5 days. I'm counting down the weeks now!
2. Vents/rants/AWs? The usual. Constant pelvic girdle and back pain. I'm not as exhausted as I have been, which is weird, but I'll take it. I also have terrible restless leg going on in the evenings. I'm still taking unisom in the evenings and that seems to calm them down a bit before bed, but it's pretty uncomfortable in the meantime.
3. What pregnancy "rules" have you been breaking? Any you've been following closely? I've been drinking way more caffeine than recommended. I can really only tolerate plain iced tea to drink. I also will eat turkey on occasion without care. I haven't had a drop of alcohol. I miss wine terribly, and although I don't think a glass here or there would hurt anything, I think it's just better for me to not drink any at all.
Random: If you had a weekend to yourself (no SO/kids), how would you spend it? I'd probably take myself out to lunch/do some shopping/maybe get a pedicure. I'd eat all the bad food I want and watch movies that H would hate. I would sleep in as long as I wanted. It would be glorious.

1. How far along are you? 34w2d 2. Vents/rants/AWs? Shit I am TIRED. I got 7+ hours of sleep last night, but it doesn't matter how much sleep I get anyways, cause I'd still be tired. AW: I took maternity pictures this weekend and our photographer already sent us sneak peeks! I look like a whale in most of them, but I like this one a lot. FIL bought that little teddy bear in the hospital gift shop the day H was born 3. What pregnancy "rules" have you been breaking? Any you've been following closely? I had a mimosa yesterday and it was freakin delicious. Random: If you had a weekend to yourself (no SO/kids), how would you spend it? I'd go shopping, get my nails, eat junk food, watch chick flicks, clean the house at a leisurely pace. I did have most of Thursday and Friday all to myself and did some version of these things. And I'm about to be on Maternity Leave so I'm going to have 8+ hours a day to myself for a few weeks/until baby arrives.

1. 19w and change 2. So... confession time. I had this theory before I got pregnant, where I could always tell whether someone was having a boy or girl based on how bitchy they were. Extra bitchy (like, compared to their normal self, not compared to the world) was ALWAYS a girl. And I've realized... I fit my own theory. I'm so impatient and snappy with everyone lately, especially during the move on Saturday. Also, everyone in FIL's family, STOP FUCKING TOUCHING ME. Yes, there's a little baby bump. No, you may not touch it. Especially you, FIL. Gross. 3. Gimme all the runny eggs. I just can't quit those. And you can pry my coffee from my cold, dead fingers. I haven't been having too much, usually just my one big mug (with lots of creamer) a day, and maybe a small chai latte in the afternoon. But from the looks on a friend's and my step sister's faces, you'd think I was drinking toilet bowl cleaner. I HAVE been diligently following my made up rule of "pregnant people can't lift anything." I didn't move a single box over the weekend. And I've been and will continue to be diligent about alcohol... H has a lot of addiction in his family, and doesn't want to risk ANY possible, unproven link there might be, so even though I think a glass of wine toward the end would be fine, I'll respect his wish for me not to. Random: Mindless TV and not putting my dishes in the dishwasher. Turning a light on to come back to the room later, and not having it turned off right behind me. My FIL mentioned to me at like 8 weeks that I was showing already. I was like umm nooo I'm not and haven't gained any weight yet either cause baby is a peanut. And then once I did start showing he came at me with his hands and asked if he could touch it, I was like whoooa no please don't! I don't like to be touched. Glad he at least asked right as he was going in for it so I could dodge the bullet! Blegh.

nsweare entropicbeauty Does any ever question your caffeine intake? I don't drink coffee every day but I've definitely been indulging in an iced caramel macchiato once a week for the past few weeks (which is within the recommended caffeine intake anyways). The same barista keeps inferring that I shouldn't be drinking caffeine. Last time he wasn't the one to take my order but he made my drink and when I picked it up, he was like, "Ohhh that's a regular drink," me, "Yeah that's what I wanted," him, "Oh okay just wanted to let you know." Dude, stop judging me for drinking caffeine, I'm allowed to have it!

nsweare @swimmy1988 Thanks guys! I was super on the fence about doing pictures at all but all of my friends and family told me I'd regret it if I didn't so I went ahead. It will be really nice to have them to show our LO one day!

kristenkay No one has dared to say a word about my caffeine intake to my face. Family and friends know that it's literally the only fluid I can tolerate and that my doctor thinks caffeinated drinks are better than dehydration. As far as strangers/servers go, maybe I just have a severe enough Resting Bitch Face because no one has even batted an eye when I order iced tea. Which is good because I doubt they'd want to wear it.
I'm sorry you've had to deal with judgment. That's not cool.

Why does everyone think they have a medical degree and know what's ok for you all to have during pregnancy? People used to side eye my sister for drinking a diet coke (one a day). She was always like 'dude, I'm allowed!' So rude. Right? It's none of their business. Plus why would anyone assume that they know better than what a pregnant woman and her doctor have discussed? I want to eat a turkey sandwich and french fries with a big old diet coke in front of those people just because I can.

1. How far along are you? 2. Vents/rants/AWs? 3. What pregnancy "rules" have you been breaking? Any you've been following closely? Random: If you had a weekend to yourself (no SO/kids), how would you spend it? 1. I'm 6 weeks, 6 days. 2. No real complaints. I'm tired and have heartburn some days depending on what I eat...but so far, so good. 3. I have 1 cup of regular coffee every day. I can't NOT have my morning coffee. A weekend to myself happens pretty regularly...so I watch Netflix, catch up on chores, do my grocery shopping, go out for lunch with family. We told our families this weekend and both sets of parents cried! Happy tears. It was awesome and a relief

I have Hashimotos and Graves diseases. My RE also is an excellent endocrinologist and is monitoring my thyroid every week with bloodwork. They've already changed my medication dosage once and I expect it will change numerous times during the first and maybe second trimesters until baby has its own functioning thyroid and isn't reliant upon mine.

Question: Is anyone else RH negative? Apparently I am and will need some shots later?

Question: Is anyone else RH negative? Apparently I am and will need some shots later? I'm Rh negative. You have to get a shot around 28 weeks and another when the baby is born. The shot makes it so that you and your baby's potential incompatible blood types don't cause you problems down the road. There aren't any side effects to the shots. I can give a more detailed answer if you have questions. Just let me know!

One thing congenital hypothyroidism prepared me for pregnancy for was all the blood work. I'm so used to getting blood drawn that I didn't even bat an eye at how often I had to do it while pregnant Yeah...same with my thyroid stuff. I have become a pro at getting bloods drawn sadly!
