Yes, I know this is stupid. Please just help talk me down from my pity party of 1 I ordered some basic maternity clothes online -- Literally two t-shirts, two tanks and a pair of shorts. I ordered mediums in everything, which is my regular size. Nothing. Fits. None of it. It's all too tight. I couldn't even get the shorts on. I burst into tears. Guys, I'm at this really awkward phase where I just look really pudgy. My bump is not cute. Not even a little bit. It just looks like my pooch sticks out further than usual. Will this get better when I have more of a bump instead of chub? Help

I could never order maternity clothes online because the sizes are all over the place. In real life I would probably be a size 14, but in maternity I can wear anything from a medium to and extra-large. Certain styles fit better than others. I'm not sure what stores you have near you, but I find Kohl's has decent maternity stuff.

Yoga pants are LIFE! I wear them all the time. No need for maternity.

Yoga pants are LIFE! I wear them all the time. No need for maternity. Really? The non-maternity leggings I was wearing stopped working for me about a month ago. They buckle under my belly and are uncomfortable - and now I'm starting to find the low-waist maternity pants do the same thing. I think I'm a weird shape. I have foldover yoga pants from Victoria's Secret. I roll up the foldover part and they act just like maternity pants. I could wear these every day.

I had lots of success with Motherhood Maternity and Old Navy. I loved the maxi dresses at Old Navy.

I think it's super normal to get frustrated with your growing belly and there are bound to be awkward stages. I've had a couple of breakdowns though, and I'm at the point where even maternity clothes are feeling snug on me now! Just try to remember that it's temporary and worth it for thar beautiful little baby growing inside of you!
Old Navy is probably my favorite fit personally. And I could live in maxi dresses, robes, and foldover yoga pants!
