1. How far along are you? 35 weeks 5 days (Almost there!!)
2. Rants/vents/AWs? Nothing new here. We were invited to a cookout today, but we're not going. H told his mom (who invited us), that I'm basically an oven right now, aka a fixture, and therefore wouldn't be doing too much leaving the house until the baby is born. haha. Truth is, we just didn't feel like travelling because it is getting harder for me to be out and about for any period of time.
3. Do you think you'll be a baby-wearer? If so, what sort of carrier is your top choice? I will not be a baby carrier. I'm only 5 feet tall and trying to carry the baby is just too hard on my back and hips.
Random:
Summer plans - what are they? Not much really. I plan to pop this baby sometime in June. The rest of June will likely be recovering from a C-section and getting used to the new family dynamic. We hope to make it out to my brother's cottage at some point with the kids, and we're hoping to do some day trips here and there. He'll be little enough that it should be relatively easy to throw his in his stroller and take DD exploring.

1. 24w 6d
2. Um, today I had the first instance of sneezing and peeing a little. I guess those kegels haven't helped that much. My thought was "It's begun..."
3. I don't know if I'll wear baby much (more sitting and BFing would be my guess), but we're planning on getting an Ergo because DH definitely plans to wear her, and he's the one who went all research-crazy on hip dysplasia and whatnot, and he's afraid of wraps. I might get a wrap for myself - seems more my style.
Random:
Besides a conference which is really just an excuse to hang out with my friends from grad school (and one of their babies) - same profession, conference is at our alma mater, one of them still lives in town - we're just planning to go to my parents' for my sister's HS graduation party, his parents' lakehouse, and maybe another weekend trip or two. People are actually planning to come to us, like our undergrad friends for our yearly get-together. I also have to prep everything at work so people can handle it when I'm on maternity leave in the fall.

Um, so. I shouldn't be freaking out at one spot of bright red blood on the TP this morning, right? RIGHT?!? No, we didn't have sex last night. My stomach also feels like crap but IDK if that's cause or effect. Egg McMuffin is helping a bit. Hmmm one spot of bright red blood shouldn't be a huge concern, but I know your doctor has been keeping a close eye on your cervix, so I would call if I were you. Just to be safe.

@lolo - I'm not trying to scare you or anything (and I'm a major stress-case all the time, so take that FWIW), but around the half-way mark is when incompetent cervix can rear it's ugly head, so I would call and let your OB know what's going on. I'm sure everything is fine though. (((Hugs)))

Good morning! 1. How far along are you? 15+2 2. Rants/vents/AWs? I feel like this is really early, but I'm starting to get the classic (according to the internet) of SPD. I shouldn't be surprised because I have always had loose joints -- playing sports any time I was checked for a knee injury this came up. But, UGH. Can it really be starting this early?? Otherwise still adjusting to sleeping exclusively on my sides. 3. Do you think you'll be a baby-wearer? If so, what sort of carrier is your top choice? I do. And I think my H will want to also. Wraps scare me, so we are looking at Ergos. Random: Summer plans - what are they? Disney in July - possible a long-weekend babymoon before H starts back to school (teacher) in the fall.

@lolo I would always call for red blood, but just one spot is probably nothing. I agree with nsweare though that I'd push for them to do a cervical check if you can, even if they tell you not to worry.

Here is a 36 week bump picture (technically 35.6) for your viewing pleasure. I apologize for the lack of makeup or hair-doneness.

Thank you guys! You are all too sweet. I needed the ego boost because my hormones are out of control. I will cry over anything right now. Or nothing. Or everything. I'm not looking forward to that postpartum hormone crash if I'm already like this.

@jennylee, I have the K'tan and I like it. DD would fall asleep in it as a newborn. I used it recently and had her facing outward, she loved it. It's comfortable for me, a little warm, easy to use and follow the steps for different positioning.

@lolo - How are you feeling? Is everything ok? IDK. I still feel weird but no more bleeding. Busy at work and having what I thought was a totally benign thread blow up into a giant shit show isn't particularly helping. My stomach is in knots. I feel like I have to pee all the time but I don't know if that's just extra pressure from the baby getting bigger, and/or if that pressure is hurting my cervix, or I'm getting a UTI or something. I also feel like my blood pressure is through the roof, but see previous. I just want to go back to bed. aw were you able to call?

Even if you think your symptoms might be stress-related, it's better to be safe than sorry.
