(((Hugs))) LMC. I'm so sorry this wasn't your cycle, but hopefully answers are to come. And drink all the wine.

LMC you might be on to something that it's just taking your body super long to adjust to being off birth control. I sincerely hope that's it and you'll be KU before long.

LMC - I would talk to your doctor about that. I know nothing when it comes to that. Even DH is at the well if we cannot have kids we can get a dog. We do not plan to do In Vitro, I am not sure what else we could do or if testing for anything makes sense for us.

H and I are seriously having the puppy conversation. A lab. There is a seeing eye school in our town and we are on the list to adopt a dog that doesn't graduate from training. But the waiting list is long (in June we are starting year 3 of a 4 year wait) and a puppy sounds pretty awesome right now. I agree... I want something to receive the love I've got to give! And if you guys ever want to chat more about debating the next step, please feel free to ask. It's a long journey.

If I'm being honest I'm not even ttc anymore and I've considered saying fuck it and getting a puppy.

Yeah September will be here before we know it and if we're not KU by then we've gotta consider if we're willing to do treatments. I have no idea what we'd do. DH and I have talked about the treatments, but we plan to be one and done. I know a lot of the treatments (that I know of, please feel free to correct me) can increase the chances of multiples. Twins would be doable, but any more than that and I would need a go on TLC or Lifetime. Sorry I am a Debbie downer!

@sarahufl Yes, that's what we've heard! It is so cute to watch them around town; they just started a new class and today we saw a young German shepherd and a golden retriever who were more interested in birds than guiding anyone. They are so adorable and it is simply amazing what they do.

I just wanted to chime in that there are a LOT of things that can be done before you'd jump into IVF. There is a lot of non- or minimally-invasive testing that you can start with if you decide you want to take some baby steps. ((HUGS))

IUI and clomid (clomid tending to be "step 1" of treatments) actually have the highest risk of multiples - IVF and more advanced ART you can be much more careful and selective.

An x-ray of my ute/tubes/etc. Thanks for clarifying. Oh the info I am learning from you all! Good luck. I didn't know either, thanks for asking!

annathy03 susanm - I didn't know either until my doctor told me to get one. They essentially shoot dye up there and then try to see if anything is blocked. I've heard reports on varying levels of painfulness. I'm going to have DH come with me because I'm scared and if it's bad news I don't want to find out alone. Please post the details of this sometime after it gets done. just for my own future knowledge. I have heard of shooting dye up there to check to see if the tubes are blocked but that is all that I know about it.
