1. How far along are you? 17+1 today2. Vents/Rants/AWs? I am going back and forth between feeling pregnant and not feeling pregnant AT ALL. Which, I know is normal but it's messing with my PgAL head. Today I feel "normal" i.e. not pregnant, so I am praying for some obvious movement. I think I have had some, sometimes it's just not as blatant. 3. Do you believe in the whole "blue for boy, pink for girl" notion, or do you rally against it? I want to say no to this, but I don't like too many of the gender neutral nurseries that I've been seeing. For clothes I don't care as much about the color, but I do tend to lean toward masculine and feminine clothes to a certain extent. Gender neutral for kids is HARD except for the Under Armor/Nike-type clothes that I squee over. Random: What would your one frivolous summer toy be (for you, not the kids)? I'd say pool but our neighbors have one and I honestly don't want the hassle. I say convertible, regardless of how impractical it is. Actually this weekend, my stepdaughter told us that I should get a minivan and my H should get a mustang convertible. Thanks, stepkid

1. How far along are you? 38w3d 2. Vents/Rants/AWs? I posted a pic on Instagram of 'prego pizza' (a major combo pizza) from a restaurant the other day and captioned it with something like, "trying to get this baby out of me!" And my H's sister commented, don't you have 2 weeks left? I commented back that my doctor and I are hoping sooner and we are ready for her to be here! And then she comments back all, "Are you measuring ahead?? Have you dropped?? Did you lose your mucus plug?? Having contractions?? etc" Dude, I don't even talk to you EVER, do you really think I'm going to chat with you about my mucus plug publicly on instagram? Not to mention that obviously babies come in their own time so I have no idea whether I have 2 days or 2 weeks. 3. Do you believe in the whole "blue for boy, pink for girl" notion, or do you rally against it? I don't care either way really. I certainly have adorable baby clothes in both blue and pink for our little one. I probably wouldn't have much pink if we were having a boy though. Our nursery only has tiny bits of pink in it, but I do think it's very feminine. Random: What would your one frivolous summer toy be (for you, not the kids)? I'm totally getting myself a kiddie pool. I need somewhere to dip! I actually want to go get one today, cause you know it's supposed to be 100 today!!! So much swelling I really don't want to wear clothes until the baby is born.

@swimmy1988 That comment would rub me the wrong way too, but I'd try to just let it go and roll my eyes. I mean I definitely plan on having more than one child and I'm not going to be a SAHM. Plenty of women with children go back to work when leave is up, or once their kids are in school, it shouldn't be an assumption that you have to be a SAHM once you have kids. But if you do and it works for your family, then that's awesome too.

1. How far along? 10 weeks, 6 days.
2. Vents/Rants/AW Baby is a BOY and I'm beyond thrilled. Would have been happy either way but I sort of had a feeling it was a boy - so I'm happy.
3. Blue for boy/pink for girl I am thinking that for a nursery, I'm going with white/sage green. I will add accents of navy blue because I'm probably going to go with a nautical theme (if it was a girl, I was going to use coral accents).
Frivolous summer toy? I want a big beach umbrella and a kiddie pool! LOL

1. How far along are you?
5W3d
2. Vents/Rants/AWs?
No... just relieved that I can get pregnant. We actually had our first appointment with the RE 3 days before I tested positive. Now I'm anxious about losing it... I'm much calmer than before, but it's been tough. My SIL and a friend have also just gotten pregnant, and have been telling everyone. We have told no one, and the fact that they're telling has me worried for some strange reason. I can't explain it.
I'm wondering about symptoms, though. I know it's early, but I've had some breast tenderness and a tad queasy, usually after taking my vitamins, but it seems to come and go. I'm assuming that it'll be more constant later on and the come and go is an early pregnancy thing somewhat?
3. Do you believe in the whole "blue for boy, pink for girl" notion, or do you rally against it?
Don't believe in it, don't rally against it. More ambivalent toward it. I have a soft spot for sporty/tomboy girls though since I was one.

Totally frivolous? A boat, but that'l never happen. Maybe a SUP board- we've been wanting to try it for years and it's huge here. Or, a firepit!

Guys, I miss sleeping. And pooping.
ETA: In more positive news, I just got my sequential screen results back and they were negative/normal! I wish I had a number to attach to them for my own sanity, but I'll take it!

Does anyone get a weird taste in their mouth when they wake up from a nap? I think it has to do with my heartburn/being a mouth breather, but it's making me nauseated and now I can't shake the taste even though I woke up almost 4 hours ago. I had a horrible, bitter taste in my mouth my whole pregnancy. It didn't go away until he was born. It definitely upped the nausea factor. If I wasn't too too nauseated then sucking on lemon candies seemed to help a little.
