Morning! Hope you don't mind that I'm starting this today @jennylee I have my anatomy scan on Wednesday and it cannot come soon enough. I have to constantly remind H that it's not ALL about finding out the sex, but really looking at everything to make sure Rocky is healthy. I am trying to come up with something very, VERY simple and cute to do for when we tell our parents. Like, homemade cupcakes with pink or blue frosting inside or something. That's if I can pull that off. We might also go to a Hallmark store or something and find an "It's a Boy/Girl!" ... something. They make those, yes? Anyway, HURRY UP AND GET HERE WEDNESDAY! 1. How far along are you? 2. Vents/AWs/Rants? 3. Upcoming appointments/bloodwork/whatever? Random: How are you staying cool now that it's HOT? (And yes, I'm very self centered and assume that because it's hot here, it's hot everywhere )

1. How far along are you? 19+1 today2. Vents/AWs/Rants? Starting to feel more movement, which is fabulously reassuring. I've noticed it each of the past few days, so that's really encouraging. I'm still not sleeping great. I just can't get comfortable, especially on nights after I've been more sore from the SPD. The pillow between the legs thing is having mixed results for me.3. Upcoming appointments/bloodwork/whatever? The aforementioned anatomy scan on Wednesday. Random: How are you staying cool now that it's HOT? My H blasts the air at night, which is nice but it dries me out even more than I already am. Otherwise we are mostly planning to mooch off of other people's pools this summer

1. How far along are you? 12 weeks, 6 days. 2. Vents/AWs/Rants? I feel good for now...and I'm happy about that. No real complaints or AWs. I got the CUTEST ultrasound picture at last week's appointment. I'll have to try to upload it here. You can see Baby B's little foot...he's sitting with his legs all folded up. 3. Upcoming appointments/bloodwork/whatever? Thyroid bloodwork this week and then I get to meet my OB on the 30th. I'm looking forward to meeting the OB but am sad that I've officially "graduated" from my RE. Random: How are you staying cool now that it's HOT? (And yes, I'm very self centered and assume that because it's hot here, it's hot everywhere ) I'm staying in the air conditioning as much as possible - it has been brutal here this week and is supposed to be in the high 90s tomorrow. BOO I'm also a little moody over the concept of baby showers. My Mom has all but said that she isn't having a baby shower until after the baby is born. And my H agrees with this and so does MIL - so no pre-baby festivities will be held that I'm aware of. Which is good and fine...but also makes me twitchy because I'm REALLY not sure now about buying stuff. Ugh.

@drexelkathy - it's hard to plan, you're right. Do they have a reason for not wanting to have the shower until after the baby gets here? That sort of leaves you to get everything essential, and doesn't really help you plan - kind of defeats the purpose, in my mind. @lolo - I'm sorry that you're pregnant in your arms. That must make things difficult... Glad that Tidbit will have a cousin so close! Superstition is pretty much the reason. My Mom had miscarriages and my H lost a baby with a prior GF once. Nothing in the 3rd trimester or anything like that...but they're just superstitious. I guess we will just get the absolute essentials and wait. And considering we are moving, selling a house and potentially moving a 2nd time before baby...it makes sense. I'm just a control freak and want to have everything situated.

ktmac how did it go?? ETA NM I found it. YAY congratulations!!! I had a feeling it was a boy. Thanks!! I thought about posting over but I mentioned it over on the General Board because it consumed my whole mind yesterday. The only thing that was not absolutely perfect yesterday was that I have a somewhat low-lying placenta. It is NOT currently over the cervix, which is good, but they do want to keep an eye on it to make sure that as baby/uterus grows, it grows up and away from the cervix. The doc thought she saw a tiny blood clot, which could have been part of the placenta but she couldn't say for sure. So, still on a no-sex restriction. Sorry H. But honestly otherwise everything looked great. Little Man was NOT shy about showing us that he's a he

Tidbit had her legs crossed for the little "sneak peak" U/S the tech tried to give me when I had to had a cervical one, and everyone said "well legs crossed is always a girl." She was the same for the AS, and generally wasn't too active for any of my ultrasounds (although now she's a karate master). Everyone having boys says they're wiggling, dancing fools for all of them. oh no ... the tech saw it when she was looking at his legs. then she moved onto something else and he was SPREAD EAGLE with his legs up in the air. There was no doubt.

This is funny, because my little princess wasn't at all shy about showing us the goods. The tech was even kind of shocked that she was able to get right up in there to see her lady bits. It's not surprising now because DD is sooooo not shy about anything. I guess it was just her personality from jump street.

Yesterday was my official due date. This means kristenkay is overdue, if baby G hasn't been born yet. kristenkay, I'm thinking of you! Check in and let us know how you're doing, if you can. I hope you're doing well and feeling ok.

So if the spotting stopped, should I still wait to be checked by a doctor? Yes absolutely. It's not going to hurt to get checked out. Plus it could give you peace of mind. (((Hugs)))

I taliked to the triage nurse and updated her. She said to stay as well. H seems to be having the same symptoms (minus the spotting obviously). So he went home. Luckily MIL went over to our place to look after Tadpole. It could be a stomach bug if YH is sick too. But it's definitely good to get checked out JIC. Plus, they can give you IV fluids which will make you feel sooooooo much better. Keep us updated. Thinking of you.

Glad to hear that the bleeding has stopped, but ugh for the stomach bug! Pregnancy seems to be filled with weird conflicting symptoms. It is cramping because something is wrong or cramping because I've been constipated for days. That one is my current favourite.
