Sooooo glad to hear it! (Healthy and only one!). I hope the tummy issues (for the whole family) are better, too!
And btw, we're nearly due date buddies now. I had a dating ultrasound yeaterday and they moved me ahead a few days, and consequently the due date to feb 4.

I agree with girl. Are you guessing based on heartbeat? That was the only old wives tale that was true for both my girls Yes. Also true for me. Three times now. Old wives know what's what... (Every 'tale' predicted accurately for me, so I'm using my own experience here.) The one that was accurate for me was how I was carrying. I carried very high with DD, and extremely low for DS.

I take it girls have higher heartbeats?I believe Tadpole's heartbeat was consistently in the 150s when I was pregnant with her. Seems to be the case. Traditionally girls heartbeats are in the 150-180 range, with boys being lower. This little bean's heartbeat started off (first time I saw it) around 171 and is around the 160 mark at this point...but its a boy. They say the hearts "slow down" a bit as pregnancy progresses though, so I'll see where he ends up as time goes along. I wouldn't be surprised if his stays higher though...my heartrate is usually a bit on the higher side and it is my kid inside my body! In fact, I'm pretty sure every "theory" I've read/looked into predicted a girl (Ramzi, etc) but he's a boy. And OMG - here's his most recent "picture" - look at his little "foot"!!!!
