1. 6 weeks and 5 days
2. Not sure if this is a pregnancy thing. Saturday evening I felt like I could not breathe while I was asleep. I slept for like an hour and woke up and felt like I could not breathe. I went downstairs to check on the temperature to make sure it was low and temperature in the house was fine. I tried sleeping on the couch and that worked. DH checked on me and I told him what happened. I eventually went back up to the bed. Last night I had no issues sleeping/breathing.
3. My anxiety has been extremely low and things that would normally trigger a panic episode did not. I am so used to having panic attacks that it is really notable that this is occurring.
Random: Fall. I like that the weather is typically not too hot or too cold. And it is usually a beautiful time of the year.

I like that the weather is typically not too hot or too cold. And it is usually a beautiful time of the year. I've had shortness of breath off and on during pregnancy - totally normal, and really disturbing! As your body makes room for the baby, everything is shifting and moving - and it happens right through third tri! I went from not being able to sleep on my stomach very early on, to having to have extra pillows for both breathing and reflux, to needing a wedge for my stomach, needing/not needing/and needing again pillows between my knees for alignment... the list goes on. Right now I'm back to almost being able to sleep in a modified recovery position - the pumpkin just lets me know if I'm squishing him and I adjust accordingly! If you were on your back the breathing thing is pretty common. Sorry. Finding the perfect sleep positions during pregnancy is a definite challenge! I was actually on my side facing away from DH. Yeah, some nights I have no issues sleeping in any position and other night it seems like I (aka the baby) doesn't like any positions. And I can borrow DH's body pillow or use snoogle to use different positions for my legs, etc, too.

@jennylee I don't think it'd have a negative impact on my relationship with my dad. My dad is very generous when it comes to stuff like this. And he doesn't hold it over our heads. If it was my mom who offered, we'd probably decline because she would have strings. I'm glad you've thought of this. We have the same difference with my parents vs my in laws. My in laws will invite you to dinner and then use it in their martyrdom. We generally don't accept gifts from them and with me being laid off and them not understanding how that works, we are anticipating/dreading a conversation in which we have to decline cash from them. Thanks but no thanks.

1. How far along are you? 22+2 today. I can hardly believe it
2. Vents/rants/ I am so uncomfortable when trying to sleep. I thank God that I'm not working and can nap. Also I've kind of popped the past week or two so there is no mistaking that I'm pregnant. It's interesting. And since my phone auto corrected popped to pooped, I will share that I'm still super constipated. You're welcome for sharing.
On a more positive note, I am feeling him move more consistently now. Like several times per day and I freaking love it. It freaks my husband out a little when I make him feel his kid kicking me, but I haven't gotten tired of it yet.
3. Unexpected side effects of pregnancy (positive or negative)? Just awkward attention on my body. I don't like it, but I'm trying to be understanding when people at church or wherever tell me my bump is adorable. I know it comes from a good place but it's still so weird
Random:
Favourite season, and why! FALL. hoodies and sweats and ugly Ugg boots? Yes please. It was also soccer season growing up and I love football. I hate taking our yard but love love love everything else.

Good luck swimmy. My SCH tailed off at the end with red blood episodes when I wiped about a week apart. I hope that's all it is for you.
Thinking of you and your H and your little one. Pleas keep us posted if you can.

16 weeks here today and nothing too exciting to report. My next appointment isn't until the 28th so it feels like forever!

1. How far along are you? 10+6 today
2. Vents/rants/AWs? i felt awful last week for the first time, more than a bit queasy, etc, but I think it was due to environmental stuff as much as anything. Our building is being painted, so it stinks of fresh paint, and then we've been having awful wildfires that covered the city in a blanket of smoke. It rained the other day and cleared out the smoke and I've been feeling better ever since.
3. Unexpected side effects of pregnancy (positive or negative)? I could do without the anxiety. For example, the last couple of days I've been feeling great- more energy, an actual appetite (well, better than before). So, of course, in my head that means that something is wrong, right?
Random:
Favourite season, and why! There are things I like about them all. I'd probably choose summer, though, because I don't have to work, we can travel, and the summers here are fabulous. It doesn't usually get too hot, but hot enough to camp and picnic and go to the beach.

What has/is anyone using to prevent stretch marks? Any particular type of lotions, etc?

@lolo - so pretty! And I love those shelves! Is that in your nursery? Thanks! And yes, those are H's handiwork. The books will face forward. And I've been using Bio Oil. Does the Bio Oil work? I was always told to use coco butter, but that shit doesn't work.

Bump - 16+2 (And jammy pants I got from BuyBuyBaby thanks to the recommendations here! So soft and comfy!) Don't mind the chaos in the background - I'm living in box land from the move still!

Mini rant: I joined a fb breastfeeding page (provincial, since there's nothing local to me), expecting it to be helpful info - just getting back into the game... But instead it's hundreds of posts about nothing. It's either always the same question over and over, or people posting pics. There's really only so many times I can read about people wanting to go drinking and wondering how long they should wait before bf-ing, and only so many times I can read the expression "on the boob" without wanting to poke my eyes out. I am a huge bf-ing supporter, did it twice and planning to do it again, but I'm finding this group to be way over the top. I just wanted to be a part of a group close to home, and without any local support, that was it. *sigh End rant. Are they all in their early 20's? (Okay so I have friends like that, too, but they didn't bf) Maybe look to see if there are regular mommy groups for your province, they might talk about bf, too.

Sorry if this is too personal for some. How often did everyone (that wants to share) have to get new bras throughout their pregnancy due to their boobs growing? I swear mine are already growing.

The closest mall around me sucks. The only bra store is Vickies which I am not a fan of and there is no maternity store. Hell there is no toy store or Old Navy.
@jennylee - Where did you get the bras at?
@lolo - thanks for the link to coobie and those are cheap.
