Bean is soooooooooo adorable!
P is doing well. He's finally chunkin out which makes me happy. There is nothing better than a chubby baby. He was 10 lbs 5 oz at his hematologist appointment on last Friday. He'll be 2 months on the 3rd and he's getting pretty interactive. He's smiling and starting to attention whore. I'll try to post a recent picture sometime today.

C will be 1 tomorrow!!! She's about 18 pounds, and lean. She's walking pretty well and climbing everything. She sleeps pretty well at night, but rarely naps. She can say hi, daddy, doggy, gar (part of our cat's name), momma and bye. (Baby versions of these) She loves to eat and play with her brother. She's outgoing and stubborn.
D will be 3 next week! He has been acting like a 3 year old with his tantrums and not listening. He is potty training and had been doing well, but now I'm seeing more accidents. He's smart, funny, loves to talk. He loves building train sets, construction sites and running around playgrunds. He loves his sister and at times can be super sweet with her.

Both DS and DD had a slight regression around this age, but it wasn't really a regression (if that makes sense). They went through a growth spurt where their bladders couldn't keep up with their bodies. It lasted a couple of weeks, then it was over as suddenly as it started. Good to know! Thank you. He did great Saturday and yesterday, but not today.

C & D had their check ups today.
C is almost 18 pounds and 29 inches long. She didn't like this appointment, and hated her shots. Plus, in my state they require a lead test at 12 months, so she had to have her finger pricked. Overall, she's right on track developmentally.
D is 38 1/2 inches and 35 pounds. He was super. They took his blood pressure and he did great. He counted to 10 and answered the doctor for us when she asked which words C says.

So we never did a July check-in and since the month is almost over, might as well piggy back it on the quickly approaching August. Bean is a whoppin' 4 months old today. That's crazy to me! Definitely a fun, albeit challenging, age. Love that she is "talking" jiberish nonstop, is more responsive to things, has found her feet! Don't love that she's fighting sleep, could take or leave her bottle, and leans toward the moody side. We go for her next set of shots on Thursday and hopping she does as well this go around as she did the last. What's a happenin' with all the TH babies, hmmm? She is adorable, and I neeed that romper for Baby G, so cute!

CheesePlease, Bean is so adorable!! So, Tadpole is 11 1/2 months today. Which means I'm just a mere 2 1/2 weeks away from having a ONE YEAR OLD!! How did this happen!?! Cue tears about how my little baby is growing up so fast. Tadpole is turning out to be quite the little lady. She's about 20 pounds so still a string bean even though she eats SO MUCH! But she's also quite active. Climbing stairs, crawling everywhere. She's in size 6-12 months, but can wear some 12-18 month shirts. For pants, I think she'll be in 12 months for a while still. We started her on whole cow's milk recently. We tried it about a month ago but she was getting a red bum afterwards so stopped, but now everything seems fine. I think we're on the brink of walking. She can run around using the couch as support but hasn't taken any unassisted steps yet. We're having her birthday party in a little less than 2 weeks so I need to prep for that. I'm thinking of going with a Frozen theme, having Olaf on her cake, and getting some "frozen" plates and decorations. That way people can feel cool in the hot summer heat! Now for some photos!! Having an ice cream cone while SIL was babysitting her last week. Our pregnancy announcement for #2. I think Tadpole will love being a big sister! And another photo taken by SIL Did I miss tadpole's birthday?! If so. Happy Birthday cutie!

CheesePlease I feel you on the special formula. P is on one too. He wasn't having problems with reflux or any digestive pain, but on the regular stuff he was pooping 12 times a day and the doctors think it was contributing to his anemia. On the special stuff he's down to 1-2 poops a day. We were able to find the formula for $27.99 a can, but the cans are so small. I feel like I should buy stock in Target and Similac because we are keeping them in business.
