CD9 today, on my first month trying to chart, 3rd month since stopping BC. I got my thermometer last week and I'm trying my best to follow the rules for temping. The temps seem a little too all-over-the-place right now, but I've only charted 4 days so that's not really long enough to show a trend. I'm also trying to figure out cervical fluid. I feel like mine is always egg whites, just varying quantities of it. I'll be paying closer attention this month though. Here's my chart - I just copied it from FF. Anyone know a trick to make it bigger?

You're right - the chart does get bigger when you click on it, so at least you can read it. I could try a screen shot, but that requires extra steps.
I dunno why I have open circles. The first three were all similar times between 7:00-7:30am. The fourth (this morning) was earlier at 5:30 because H's commute means we have to get up earlier than usual on Mondays. Monday is actually the only day I set an alarm. I otherwise wake naturally and just try to temp as soon as I remember but before I actually do anything. Maybe FF thinks the later times were outliers, but will eventually figure out that the early time is.

Looks like my husband is coming home for 2 weeks next week after all, so fingers crossed it'll be go time! I think we will miss the window, (again, ugh) but here's hoping we don't!

@sarahufl He works for an oil and gas company. I'm pretty sure we will miss it again. I'm supposed to start testing today using the OPK, and last time the surge was the second day of testing, so I'm pretty sure this time will be the same. It just blows when we miss it by just a few days, you know? Very frustrating.

gingerlady - I could never track my cm either. My temps before I O (and sometimes after) were always a rollercoaster. addie - Good luck. I know one of the issues with ttc was my traveling. There was a few times I was out of town around when I O'd.

Fingers crossed, addie!!! Still no "high" reading on my monitor. Woof. Looks like, even if it works, there will be no shot of finding out by my birthday. Waaaaah Bummer! AF was due for me on Mother's Day, and I was reaaaaaaalllllly hopeful that month b/c how cool would that have been to find out then? But alas, AF right on schedule. That bitch.

Eeeee! As I predicted, I got the smiley today on the OPK, which means the next 48 hours is go time. This would suck IF my husband hadn't called a bit ago and said he is coming home tomorrow instead of Tuesday. So can I get all the baby dust you can muster?!

Sorry LMC I'm no Clomid expert, but it's my impression that it doesn't stimulate ovulation in everyone, and also may take a few cycles before it works. I have a friend who used it and it still took her 6 months to conceive (but she did!). So I suspect you're not alone in what you're experiencing. Good luck!

Clomid can/will mess with charting and OPK. It can be frustrating for sure. See this: Q: Are my BBTs as accurate if I am taking fertility medications such as Clomid or injectibles? A: In a word, no . . . but that doesn't mean they don't tell you something. Clomid often causes elevated BBTs around the time of taking the medication, and it appears to be more common to have a triphasic BBT on medications without pregnancy. It is also more common to have a long luteal phase without pregnancy. Other monitoring is more reliable when on medication. www.fertilityplus.com/faq/bbt/bbtfaq.html

I'm sorry, LMC. I know it's frustrating. Try not to get discouraged or stress yourself out.
