1. 16w2d
2. I had really bad stomach pains/cramps yesterday morning until like 1pm. Not sure why. I am trying to think positively and that it was a growth spurt (sp?) or the baby was moving around a lot.
I am not eating enough when I am in the field and walking a lot. I felt weak a few times and I ate a fiberbar, a protein drink, and drank a mini can of pepsi and water. I may need to start bringing in more fiber and protein bars at work. Luckily I am at a hospital so I can get plenty of food and drink today. The bad is that I don't want to eat. Most of the first tri I was still eating calories like I was to loss weight.
3. The only one I am reading is the one where the baby writes to you from the womb. Its cute. I don't plan to read any. But H wants some baby books to read.
4. My pants are feeling tight. Maybe I will have a bump by week 20.

@lolo - you are so close and look fantastic.
Serious question is it too early to buy a crib? I want to get so much done since I still cannot lift too much I feel like online shopping is helping.

Thanks! And no. We got our crib before I even got pregnant (a friend was getting rid of it so we got it for free). As long as you have room to store it and send the little card back to be notified if it gets recalled, go for it! The baby's room is the spare bedroom and the only thing in it is a spare living room table and guest bed, so we have plenty of room for it. My mom volunteered my uncle's truck to bring the dresses I have from her house to mine, but I am starting to think it might be easier and less stressful for DH and I to rent a truck and move it ourselves. I know she will come to the house with him and put her two cents in on where it should go. There really is no reason for her to even go since she won't help carry it.

I can still only drink 2 bottles of water a day so my fluids are usually koolaid or juice. My normal used to be 4-5 bottles a day.

@lolo, you look great. We have Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child. I thought it was informative, and you can use his method, or he talks about other methods. i didn't read all of it, just what I needed at the time.

Just get as much fluids as you can, especially if you're eating more fiber. Too much fiber without enough fluids will give you all kinds of trouble. Even the water in food counts; maybe you could get those microwavable, sippable soup cups to eat at work? I snack on a lot of grapes and watermelon for the high water content too. Trust me it's not more fiber compared to what I ate before. I am used to eating 1-2 fiber bars a day before getting pregnant. I can try the soup idea, but I don't know if I can handle that much tomato soup. I don't have a fridge to put fruit in when I am in the field.

@daubachsgirl23 - I am not skipping your posts, but everytime I try to reply I get a phone call. I will look into Pedialyte. Next annoying stupid question from me, when the hell does the bump come!? I am at a hospital today where I see all of these beautiful bumps and I am jealous. @sarahufl - At 12-13 weeks I did not believe it, but you actually do get more energy in the 2nd trimester. I am actually able to get close to or above my steps in a day with not being unusual tired and I have even been suggesting to take walks in the evenings again with H. And yay for passing the Nuchal screening. I got the 2nd trimester blood test done on Friday and I keep looking for my test results. The person that took the blood did not tell me I would get results today and my doctor told me its takes a few days, but I want my results now!

@swimmy1988 - any word on Squish's plumbing yet? Indoor or outdoor??? Glad the u/s went well, btw. I'm overly invested in finding out the sex of your kid. Still predicting girl. Just eating some cereal then I'll call! lol Then probably do an AW thread There's NO WAY I can wait until next wednesday which is when my next OB appointment is. Wait the ultrasound person doesn't tell you at the appointment. Feel bad for my OB office after I get mine done I will be calling them often. Hell I check to see if my blood work results come in at least once a day via email and on my online chart.

I remember finding out we were having a boy at like 8am when the nurse called with the results from our Panorama genetic testing. I don't know if I would have been able to wait until 20+ weeks!
I'm 26 weeks now...and now time seems to be flying by. I have SO much to do and not enough time or energy to do it. H and I are about to start tackling a nursery here soon - finally picked colors and such so now it is time to get to work on that.
I've been put on medication for pregnancy induced hypertension because my blood pressures have been really high. Even with the meds, I'm averaging 140/90+ The medication makes me tired and sometimes dizzy - but I will do whatever the doctor says at this point. Next testing on the list is the 1 hour glucose testing. Hopefully that goes well - I've heard it tastes awful.

Yes, the glucose drink tastes nasty, but it's a necessary evil. I think some places give you a choice of flavours (not here in the wilderness, of course), but in the 'real' world... Take it easy - you're almost in the third tri, and the countdown is on! Any names yet??? still no name yet...but H has eliminated a bunch so we must be getting closer?!? Right? At this rate the baby will have a name right around high school graduation LOL

Guys, I hit an important milestone yesterday at 32+3
I was sorting through baby clothes to get ready to wash them, and I stood up and there was a wet spot on my pants about the size of a grapefruit. I tried really hard to panic, but of course I panicked. I called my doc and bc they are wonderful had me come in right away.
It was pee. I knew there was a very high likelihood that it would be, but H and I are still adjusting to the reality that I apparently pee myself now.
I had never prayed that I peed myself until the drive to the doctor. So we can check that off the to-do list.

ktmac - I would have been worried, too, but I am glad your water did not break. As much as I want to meet your LO it is still too early.

ktmac - I was in the delivery room, told them my water broke and they argued with me that I probably peed myself. Nope, it was two distinct pops - and my bladder doesn't do that - even when the flu made me pee myself for months. So yeah, I've had the peeing myself experience and that wasn't it. Is it wrong that I'm GLAD you peed??? You need to cook that baby a little longer! [ Oh I'm glad it was pee too. I felt dumb, but me being wrong is a much better situation than if I was right. This kid needs another solid 4 weeks before I would feel even okay going into labor

ktmac Welcome to the club of peeing yourself once in a while. Just make sure not to sneeze on a full bladder. Just trust me on this. My bladder doesn't need to be full to pee myself when I sneeze or cough.
