1. How far along are you?
2. How are you feeling: physically, emotionally, vents, AWs?
3. What is your weirdest craving during this pregnancy?
Bonus: Is anyone else really tired today?

1. 17w 3d
2. As long as I don't listen to certain songs on the radio I am doing fine.
The low banded pregnancy pants are fitting me better, so I may complain about pregnancy pants less often. I just need to remember to not put both of my phones, keys, and wallet in my pocket. I may need to start carrying a purse.
3. I haven't had any weird for me cravings.
Bonus: I am very very tired. Like I need a liter or two of pepsi to wake up today. (I am not going to drink that much). I think it is due to the weather.

1. How far along are you? 100 years, 64 months and 37 days. AKA 39w2d 2. How are you feeling: physically, emotionally, vents, AWs? Like crap all around. Everything hurts, baby's still sky high, my mom is being an asshole, I'm not sleeping, and I think I'm getting sick. I'm constantly on the verge of crying. And I think my shirt is dirty. 3. What is your weirdest craving during this pregnancy? Gas station nachos. While on the way home from eating ice cream. Bonus: Is anyone else really tired today? Frikkin exhausted. I was up every hour last night, and I know I kept H up too so I feel guilty about that. I would have gotten up and gone to the other room or downstairs to watch TV but he said he can't sleep when I'm not there, so it was lose/lose. I want to like it due to the 100years part. I hope your baby comes soon! That sucks you are in so much pain.

Thanks snippet17 and LMC. I'm trying to find a chiropractor to try and help my hip but all the ones near me are the super new-world-y " adjustments can prevent cancer and sadness!" types which I do NOT buy. Just get my hips aligned so the pain of sleeping on my side stops waking me up, and MAYBE baby has more room to drop, but don't try to get me to bring her in for an adjustment or claim you can cure all my ails by popping my neck. Are there people that actually buy into this shit?! I never been to a chiropractor, but I have heard good things about them aligning backs and hips. I agree with @daubachsgirl23 suggestion. Call your OB office, they may have some that they can suggest.

1. How far along are you? 26w6d
2. How are you feeling: physically, emotionally, vents, AW? I'm tired and my pelvis hurts. Just can't seem to get comfortable at night - even with a body pillow/pregnancy pillow so I don't sleep well. Plus I've gained about 20lbs so my body doesn't like me too much.
3. What is your weirdest craving during this pregnancy? Not really any weird cravings.
Bonus: Is anyone else really tired today? Yes!
@lolo - you're almost there! You must be so excited!!!

@lolo - I forgot to say, but you must post daily or I will assume that you are in labor or at the hospital!

DH's one case worker suggested for him to have a diaper party so he can get beer and diapers. She said he can host it at our house or his grandma's. No, no. I told him we can ask his mom and sister if they are willing to add a lot of guests and make it co-ed, but I think that will make the shower huge.

@lolo - why the hell do they not have at least small shuttles for those parking lots. There are so many reasons am employee could not park there. Is the contractor or client parking closer? (Assuming there is at least one of those) I'd park there.
My client has been redoing the one indoor walk way so you don't have to go up a steep hill so its closed down. I park in the more expensive lot. I have to move mid day but oh well I walk enough as it is and don't feel like dealing with it at 17 weeks. I have a feeling I will have to be at client locations without hills or in the office come January or February.

@lolo - that sucks. The shuttle should have poles that say its a stop for the shuttle and the times.
From the sounds of it, if there was pregnant parking spots others would park in there, too.

On a bright note my company is hiring 2-3 employees (they put an offer in with the one) so I hope they all stick around in January and February when there is no way in hell I am walking up any of the hills near cardic hill (there is a hill by the hospital and universities nn that).

ugh, this really sucks. Now I am dreading getting to work when I am super pregnant. I basically can't park (I work in Manhattan and parking is a big fat LOL around here). So I take the train/bus and do a decent amount of walking. I sense some working from home in my future...... I work in downtown Boston and take the subway every day. It does suck, but it's a little easier when it's a walk you're used to doing. It just takes a little bit longer than usual. The worst for me would be standing for the entire train ride home because everyone in their seats pretended not to see my gigantic pregnant belly. Ugh. That is just rude that people don't offer their seat to you. I swear some people do not have manners anymore.

@lolo - That does sound confusing, but I am happy you worked it out with HR. I am actually surprised they are giving you so much since you haven't been there that long. I am jealous!

It's not a new policy, just the way they described it was different and made me freak the hell out. The ACTUAL policy is worded entirely differently... I spoke with HR and feel much better about it. Disability can start on Monday whether I've had the baby or not. Then it lasts (paid, with full benefits) for 6-8 weeks after the baby's born (but that "timer" doesn't start until then, so I don't need to work from home next week). Then my doctor will clear me to come back to work, and once I go "back on payroll" I can use my 8 remaining vacation days (which the original explanation made sound like would be absorbed/lost in disability time). Once the vacation days are used up, I can go on a personal leave of absence, but benefits aren't terminated until the end of the month AFTER the month it starts. The wording I read yesterday said they'd end the end of the SAME calendar month, which would have only been November. So I'll be on unpaid leave, but at least my benefits will be held through the end of the year. Then I would end my leave on December 23rd, work that one day from home, and get paid holiday time through the end of the year. Phew! I'm glad HR was able to clarify and you feel better about it. The US really needs to get on board with this "paid leave" thing. No one should be freaking out the day before their due date about maternity leave and benefits I agree. Like that needs to happen before March 2016 and include any size company.

Ditto to all of the above. Lolo I was about to get super-pissed-off on your behalf when I read your first post, but I'm really glad you talked to HR and figured out something that will work for you. But seriously, it's LONG overdue for this country to introduce reforms to family leave policies!!!

My H gets really good paternity leave. But he works for Google, so they are ahead in the benefits dept in general. I plan to resign when I have this kid. My commute is over an hour each way (walk/train/bus) and I hate my supervisors. They are also not very family-friendly (nor is my job). I plan to take some time to see if I want to go back to work or not then look for something closer to home if that is the decision. My H keeps applying to jobs at Google but they never call him! It's super-competitive because it's like the coolest place to work ever (and here in Boston my H is up against all the MIT-grad whipper-snappers). Good for your hubby!

I am jealous of people that can at least get disability. My company doesn't have it and none that I ever worked for ever had maternity leave (I am weird and some of keep my old employee manuals, when I was in grad school they actually helped). My current company will deny unemployment. I know of that since my former co-worker asked if he could apply for it since he would be off due to his surgery. If I have a c-section I or volunteers may need to make a go fund me for that. I had a lot of time saved up, but used one week and 2 days due to my surgery last month. H's boss gave him days off due to me being in the hospital and H didn't have to use any vacation. Plus he is approved for all doctor's appointments. I submitted my requests for mine and I hope to hear by from my bosses if mine is approved for Oct. 15 by next week on Friday. I hope they give me a 100 check like they did when I got married. At least that is something.

NJ state is pretty cool in that you get 4 weeks of "disability" prior to birth and then 6 weeks after (or 8 for a c-section).
