H could take some parental leave, if I let him. The way it works in Canada is I get 15 weeks maternity leave automatically. After 15 weeks, it switches over to 35 weeks parental leave. So that could be split between either parent. Last year I took all of it. This time I'll probably take all of it too. I'll probably resign when the benefits are about to end this time around, or go part time. Canada is SO much better than the U.S. with this! I'm jealous!

This country needs to get it together with maternity and paternity leave. And it should not tie to dela, ALL companies should have to adhere to it. tie to dela?

@lolo - That is cool that your insurance gives you one for free! I agree with swimmy. You should test it out. It may help jump start labor for you.

I think all insurance plans are supposed to cover one, they just have different limits. I never researched it since I am not BF and I won't be pumping either. H's insurance covers a lot so I would think if I wanted one it would cover it. I really wish baby @lolo would come. Tomorrow is my anniversary and I think the baby has been waiting until then to come out.

I'm good with this plan. I love this plan!
