*hugs* LMC. I hope you have a productive conversation with your doc. I will say your chart looks really good 1) you clearly ovulated, 2) your LP looks nice and long. I'm just so sorry it doesn't look like it's taking this cycle. Best of luck!

I agree with PandPmeant2B I would not ask I would tell them you want a referral. Specially since there is only a small limit of life time doses of clomid that you can take and the specialist may suggest something else or do different types of testing.

All my love your way. I'm so sorry this process has been so heart breaking. I am so hopeful the specialist can be of help and this time next year you will have a baby in your arms. Love you.

Just got off the phone with the doctor. My progesterone levels were like 120, so that's great. I talked to her about wanting to see a specialist and she made a great point: This is only the first time my cycle has been good. She would give me a referral, but pointed out that this is essentially the first time where I had a "normal" chance of getting pregnant. Honestly, I don't want to do IUIs/IVF yet. So I'll track again this month and, if my cycle is good again but it still doesn't work, I'll think about the next step. Would there be benefit to the specialist confirming that your clomid dose is right though? I'd hate to see any more lifetime doses go to trial and error unnecessarily. The RE may suggest other testing while she is on clomid. Plus since a person can only have 6 lifetime doses the RE could suggest switching to another type of fertility drug. LMC if I was you I would ask your doctor what their next steps after clomid are.

LMC if I was you I would ask your doctor what their next steps after clomid are. Last time I was there, she told me that's it for them. If I want to move on from the Clomid or get to the 6 doses, that's all the further they can take me and I'd have to go see a specialist after that. Ah. That sucks. With your trip I can totally see waiting a month to see a RE. I wish I could suggest one around here but I don't know of any. And the local board on the baby center is either about people moving here or about picking between different hospitals.

Not a bad idea to get the referral and then you can always cancel if/when the time comes.
