1. How far along are you?
2. How are you feeling? 3. Favorite mocktail drink and recipe. (Bonus if you know of any decent non alocholic wines)

1. 30w3d
2. Tired but good. My mom even tried to touch my stomach and I didn't get snippy or slap happy. H was surprised.
Shower went fantastic and we got so many gifts. I cannot believe how much we got.
Small rant/vent. I could really notice the cigarette smoke at my moms on christmas. She doesn't want me to use tide for the baby clothes but you know clothes smelling like cigarette smoke smell is fine. She doesn't smoke in any rooms but the kitchen with the door open or garage. Plus she doesn't smoke around any of us (which is a plus)
3. Don't have one that is why I asked.

1. 17 weeks tomorrow
2. I feel good, perhaps too good. Like 100% normal and I'm afraid I'm not pregnant anymore. The fact that I'm not showing at all and it's too early for movement isn't helping.
3. Favorite mocktail drink and recipe. I'm still not sure I'm into "mocktails", because alcohol is pretty much the only reason why I like sweet cocktails (guilty!). There are some indulgent drinks I've had recently that I like and often have around the holidays: mulled cider, non-boozy eggnog, homemade hot chocolate (the kind where you melt dark chocolate shavings into whole milk). Also a while ago I went to a local restaurant and had a drink made with fresh squeezed orange, crushed mint, and sparkling water. It was delicious and refreshing, not too sweet. But you'd ruin it for me if you called it a virgin mojito because I'd be disappointed by the absence of rum. Oh, and non-alcoholic wine doesn't exist. It's called fruit juice.

@jennylee - because it is not made for baby's. H and I both know it is a marketing thing that company's use. I would have thought she would not be that native. Now if there is a skin allergy we would change what we use.
@ginferlady - I didn't show until 23 weeks or so.

snippet17 yeah I know it's normal for lots of women to not show until later, but I guess I'm feeling a bit impatient! I shouldn't be surprised because I do have a broad/muscular build, so I'm sure that's why.

I use Free and Clear detergent for all of us because of sensitive skin issues. Pretty much every brand makes them now. I think I get the Purex brand for $3.99. But honestly, I wouldn't bother if we didn't already have skin issues. I used the regular stuff for us for a long time.

gingerlady - I am broad too. I felt the baby before I could notice a difference in my bump. H has skin allergy to Purex. And I have one to bleach. Like I said its my crazy moms issue. No issues with the clothes she gave us smelling like smoke but omg you use tide. And the clothes she gave us are super cute. Well all the clothes we got yesterday are super cute.

1) 18 weeks, 2 days.
2) Having occasional feelings of discomfort in lower abdomen, which I assume is Chipmunchkin playing ping pong off the walls in there. Otherwise feeling good.
3) So far the only mocktail I've been making is margaritas. Pretty good tasting ones, if I do say so myself.
Picked up a 5 pack of gerber new born gender neutral onesies on Saturday for 6 bucks on clearance. I'm simultaneously enthralled and terrified by how adorably tiny they are. We also got some washcloths and such at IKEA, and we've received a few novelty onesies for bigger sizes, so I've run everything we got through the laundry. I just need to put it all away in the nursery.
My mom is starting to itch to go shopping. Hanna Andersson apparently had a huge sale over the weekend, and she bought a shirt and about 6 pairs of gender neutral striped "wiggle pants" for next winter for the baby, to be shipped directly to me. So more laundry is pending. I'm having to tell her that as much as we appreciate this, please wait a bit, so we can get the rest of the room set up! (Plus, I think DH's grandma wants to pick out a cute outfit or two for her first great grandchild).
Supervisor is in my satellite office today and tomorrow. I think since I'll be up there in March, they are plotting a shower in the main office at that time, based on some of her comments.

These are adorable. I keep visiting baby clothes websites and filling a cart with adorable stuff on sale. But I can't bring myself to actually purchase anything yet!

These are adorable. I keep visiting baby clothes websites and filling a cart with adorable stuff on sale. But I can't bring myself to actually purchase anything yet! Don't buy clothes yet. Trust me. I'm getting hell from all sides of family and friends after mentioning I bought a single 5 pack of newborn onesies for 6 bucks.
The washcloths and hooded towels are apparently safe for me to pick up for baby. Because that's boring, and they all want to pick out a cute outfit that will eventually get spit up on, or there will be some sort of poop explosion in.

I bought one onesie. It was like a right of passage. It was me saying "yes, I accept that this baby really will be part of my life". I kind of doubt I'll get a lot of gifts though - we're not really a gift-giving family and I'm also old so no one is super-excited about babies anymore (been there, done that, blah blah). So I assume I'll be buying most of the clothes we'll need eventually anyway.

I would not buy ANYTHING (except for big items) before your shower (if you are having one). We got a decent amount of clothes, hooded towels, washclothes, etc. etc. from my shower. Plus we had my cousin and one friend who said we can go through their clothes and both offered their bumbos to us. I know everyone's circle buys different things but that is my suggestion. In my circle no one gave us anything outside of the shower, but we got a ton of gifts and can see many relatives buying us gifts when the baby gets here. If you do buy anything and plan on having a shower I would add it or something similar to your registry JIC and mark it as bought so someone does not buy it for you.

Now I feel like I'm symptom spotting. Like yesterday, it felt like I had a mild period cramp. It only lasted a couple minutes and then nothing after that. It might have been because our couch is so low to the floor, so my belly felt a bit squished. Or it could have been BH. Or both. Whatever it was stopped after I stood up. Fingers crossed that it's nothing more than the little one doing some final BIIIIG stretches before things get too tight for lots of wiggling in there.
