1. How far along are you?
2. Symptoms/vents/AWs?
3. What are you most looking forward to doing when you're finished being pregnant?

1. 32 w and some odd days
2. My stomach has been feeling very heavy ever since H and I walked to dinner tonight. It is not as bad as earlier, but it is still odd for me.
3. Seeing the LO and drinking.

1) 20 weeks, 3 days- wooo, over the half way hump!
2) Can feel fluttering movements when Chipmunchkin kicks, but mainly feeling occasional aches down in the business zone- I guess there's stuff stretching down there along with the slow growth of the belly. The mood swings have me all over the place some days, other days completely calm.
We ordered a stroller, despite not yet having a crib. I refuse to do anything crib related until DH and I get the treadmill out of what's going to be Chipmunchkin's room, and into the guest room. I think that's the project this week. After that, I'll go to town on the nursery, hah!
3) Having a real margarita, or a glass of port, or a bourbon and coke. And a cold sub sandwich. Also looking forward to easing back into an exercise and run program, though I know the little one will take a lot of time from that.

1. 19 weeks
2. I feel pretty good. I've had some pelvic girdle discomfort the past week that is starting to get in the way of my ability to run. Right now it's just annoying but I assume it will only get worse. I feel some movement sometimes but not a ton that's convincing. Also, I'm totally getting obsessed with baby clothes. I haven't bought much (yet) but OMG they're so adorable! We aren't doing a nursery and car seats and strollers are kinda boring, so clothes have become my outlet for baby-inspired internet procrastination.
3. A nice cold gin and tonic, and having maternity leave coincide with a beautiful New England summer.
Sooooo close @swimmy1988!

I forgot another thing for number 3. I want poached or dippy (sunny side up) eggs so bad. I crave them and booze often.

I forgot another thing for number 3. I want poached or dippy (sunny side up) eggs so bad. I crave them and booze often. So, I am a bad pregnant person and eat runny eggs all the time. It's the only way I like them- poached soft is the way to go. I don't really drink anyway, so giving up booze doesn't bother me, but I refuse to eat hard eggs Me too... over easy please! I also eat cold deli meat and change my (100% indoor) cats' litter box. All reasonable risks if you ask me.

I am also a bad vegetarian since I told tell them that mine needs to be on a separate plate as MH. Ssshhhhh our order wouldn't look so pretty if we had them on different dishes. Even through H hates it I lick a spoon or two clean of raw cookie dough when he makes cookies.

I plan to continue cleaning the cat box. Sorry. I bought a mask and lots of gloves. I don't want to hear DH whine about it.

What helps with my crotch pain is putting one of my legs on a chair/low table and my other on the ground. It at least helps reduce the pain.
My right boob hurt again today. I just want to go outside and stuff snow down my bra.

I finally heard back from my insurance company regarding breast pumps- they cover 100% of network allowed amount or 100% of non network allowance, one pump per birth.
Of course, they didn't answer the follow up questions to the email of "if so, which ones are covered, and how do I get one/reimbursed for it, etc"
Now I have to call them, and I'm not doing it in the office today where all can hear me. Sigh.

chipmunk - that is good that they got back to you but sucks that they didn't answer all of your questions. Do you think your doctor's office or the hospital you are using can help you out?

You guys I want to be pregnant with you and posting updates on here. My baby isn't even a year old, I didn't think I'd get the fever so quickly!
@sarahufl That is so sweet! My H did zero actual research on baby products but when he'd see something he thought was cool he'd get fixated on it. He thought the Mamaroo was so cool (I wasn't really into it) so we found it on craigslist for $80 so we bought it. Glad we didn't pay the full price because LO hated it. BTW, I got my Uppababy Vista on ebay for $600, NIP. Keep your eyes peeled for a good deal. Keep in mind getting a car seat that has adapters for the Vista if you do get it too. It was a while before we ordered the adapters and it makes lugging around the stroller much easier if you can just slip the car seat into it instead of bring the bassinet around with you. Also, (if you get the vista) you can get a stand like the jolly jumper and just use the bassinet instead of buying a whole separate bassinet.

As much as I wish they would, this is basically just going to be a matter of getting a live person on the phone. I should know better than to ask more than one question at a time in an email with the insurance - when there was the double billing issue, it took calling them to get all of my questions answered too.

Got an email from my school regarding masters graduation....27 days before I'm due, outside, at 7 pm, in Florida the first Saturday of May. Debating whether going will be worth it with the little one still on the inside.

@lolo, BCBS of FL, Standard PPO for my employer. I'm scouring the website for whatever I can find for in network equipment providers, and what I need to do to get the pump. I didn't expect to walk in to a store with my insurance card and get a pump for free- I thought the extreme possibility was there that I might be told "go buy one, send us the receipt, and we will send you a reimbursement check." But I won't know for certain till I get all the info.
On the bright side, the jogger stroller we ordered has been shipped, and my supervisor friend and I are developing some fitness weekly goal challenges to do together despite the distance, with mine being based on what I've been cleared to do. I'm excited!

This is useful info on breast pumps that I will tuck away in the back of my brain for whenever I start worrying about that (3rd trimester). I have a BCBS plan as well.
@sarahufl I'm finding myself thinking about strollers that convert into doubles too and then I stop and yell at myself for getting ahead of myself. I'm an old lady who really can't count on #2 happening at all and when I think about that I get really sad. And then I yell at myself for not focusing on how happy I am about #1. I can't win...

I'm an old lady who really can't count on #2 happening at all and when I think about that I get really sad. And then I yell at myself for not focusing on how happy I am about #1. I can't win... I had to do that to DH- Chipmunchkin isn't even at the stage where he can feel her kicking, and he was eyeing the multiples strollers in the store. I had to remind him of the plan to wait until she's at least a year old to start trying again, AND that twins are very rare in my family- last set was 3 generations ago on Mom's side.
On the other hand, he saw the little yellow pillow signs reading "please do not touch the baby" that you can attach to your stroller, carrier, etc, and actually asked out loud in buy buy baby whether people actually try to touch/pick up babies without parental permission. A woman looking at a display close by with an under 6 week old baby sleeping on her shoulder looked over, smiled sardonically, and said "you have NO idea." DH looked awestruck, I couldn't stop laughing. He's going to be in for a lot of surprises when she arrives.

Yeah I keep seeing sibs close in age in tandem strollers and get excited. And as we're name brainstorming I keep coming up with sib combos that I love. I gotta stop with this whole second baby on the brain thing!

I am jealous of everyone that can have a second kid. Sorry I know you had some complications with this one but I didn't realize that they'd preclude a future pregnancy.
