It's pretty quiet so here's one general thread.
Met with RE. Testing didn't give a reason for miscarriage. No issues with the embryo. Genetically normal baby boy. The only thing he can possibly point to is my misshapen uterus. Also he doesn't think we'll get in before the shutdown. I'm just scared this is going to happen again.
So now it looks like we're probably out until July. Everything is fucking terrible.

Thank you guys. I can honestly say that April 2015-April 2016 is without contest the worst year of my life.

Made an appointment to meet with the Maternal Fetal Medicine Department in 2 weeks. Doctor told us that when we hopefully get pregnant, we'll be discharged to a high-risk OB due to the irregular shape of my uterus. Decided to make a consultation appointment to discuss this issue with them prior to trying IVF again. If it's going to be a problem again.. I don't know what we'll decide to do.
The doctor also said that we could place two embryos if we wanted to. But he didn't know if the shape would be an issue because it's not his specialty, so I want to discuss that with him as well.

Thank you guys. I can honestly say that April 2015-April 2016 is without contest the worst year of my life. I'm so sorry LMC. I genuinely hope that things work out with your next IVF cycle and that next year you'll be able to say that you've just had the best year of your life. Lots of hugs to you and your H.

@slytherinrn Yay for almost TTC! I'm sorry that your cycles are irregular due to PCOS, but it absolutely does not mean that you will have difficulty conceiving. But it's great that you're already talking to your doctor about it. Sending positive baby vibes your way!

@slytherinrn - I assume they'll work together somehow, but I actually have no idea how this will work. I have to make sure to be ready to ask a lot of questions next week. Also, thinking of you. This is a total mindfuck, but I know how strong and amazing you are. I understand not wanting to take anything - I hope you can avoid it if that's your preference. <3

I feel like I'm going to start my period at any second. I really, really hope that I am. That would maybe give us a shot of getting in to cycle in May.

Just dropping a note of support to the TTC board - you all have been having an unfairly tough time recently. LMC, susanm, @slytherin best wishes for getting information and being able to move forward, and engr0308 take whatever time you need to heal. You're all in my thoughts.

engr0308 - I'm sorry. This is so terrible. I'm still at a positive beta. I can't fucking believe it. It's dropping so slowly, I'm so frustrated. From 17 a week ago to 9 today. I think that leaves us with pretty much no shot at getting in for the May cycle.

My current doc is ob/gyn but the practice does some infertility (probably no farther than clomid/meds stage of IF). I "inherited" her when my dr left and she joined. I'd be going to an RE regardless if we need to but it will buy me te to shop for a new gyn or OB/gyn if needed. Please do not get fertility treatment from an OB. They really do not have the training for it. Unmonitored Clomid can be extremely dangerous to your health and your future fertility. Please find an RE for any fertility treatments. It's fine to start the workup with an OB, but it really isn't their specialty. QFT.

susanm - I'm so glad it went well and wasn't too uncomfortable. If you have any questions about the Clomid let me know. I didn't really have any side effects.

I have never felt more strange "liking" a post but hurrah!! Will this get you in before the office closure? It just might. I pulled my IVF paper work and it's not always the same but they usually close around June 20- this should give us time!! We'll be close.
