LMC haha, yeah I was going to make a comment that normally an "I'm spotting" post should be followed by "I'm so sorry" but everyone else beat me to it. In your case: YAY!!! susanm good luck with YH's SA. I hope Clomid is your magic bullet! @rajahbmfd boo for busy rotations. You're a doctor right? But I don't know what kind! Anyway fx for an opportunity to GIO a bit this cycle. You certainly deserve it!

Just spoke with one of the IVF coordinators. Dammit, she's so nice.
We've got a shot. If I get my period by May 28, we can do another cycle before the shutdown. My cycle is usually 29-33 days, so I might make it. Fingers crossed. I'm going to track this cycle, not for fertile periods necessarily (although we'll give it a shot on our own), but more to see when my period might be coming. Who knows what my cycle will be like this time.

@rajahbmfd Oh I came so close to becoming a pathologist! Instead I became a clinical geneticist, which is just as nerdy but pays a heck of a lot less... Anyway, good luck with residency. You'll survive, I promise. That being said, I'm basically 100% sure that residency and fellowship sucked every ounce of career motivation that I once had out of me.
@lmc0233 FX! I'm glad the IVF coordinator is so nice.

Either way, fingers crossed!! Wishing for all the periods you need They shut down their lab twice a year for cleaning, quality control, etc. etc. It usually happens around the end of June/4th of July and around Christmas/New Years. If we don't make it, we'll have to wait until they reopen and my cycle lines up with that. All of my tests are up in June anyway, so if we don't make it I can use the shutdown to get all of my tests up to date
