Does the crawling away while mommy or daddy tries to change the diaper ever go away? Please tell it does. She used to be so chill when changing a diaper. Now T wants to crawl away when we change her on the floor or cries when she is on the changing table since she is snapped in.

In my limited experience .... Newp. Does it help to give her a toy or something? We give S the diaper cream tube to hold while we change him. We don't let him play with it otherwise, so it's a "treat" in the dumbest sense of the word.
At this point we just change him on the floor all the time, but he is squirmy.

N is squirmy, too. I usually give her the clean diaper to hold while I change her, and I make a big deal about it. "Wow you are such a big helper! Thank you so much for holding your diaper for me!" Etc etc. That helps. Mostly, I am just lightning quick with diaper changes to give her as little time as possible to try to escape lol.

Changing her when she is sleeping. I usually do not change her while she is sleeping but she pooped and I had to wake up at 4:30am to have both of us ready for when my MIL came to watch her. Luckily H will be home tonight and she will be able to sleep until 6 am again.
I will try the making a big deal out of helping out. I know I can get her to smile and giggle that way when I say such as cute girl, good girl, etc.

I just rely on speed, the squirminess only gets worse if I delay in any way. My husband doesn't get the speed thing though, so half the time he ends up with a naked butt baby running around the house.
