Okay so to start let's pretend I never use product in my hair and don't know what a model is using by looking at a picture. I feel like I have a large forehead. I really enjoy side bangs but I end up frustrated with them because they fall in my face constantly. My favorite hair cut was my a line that I had for the wedding, but it was the worst to grow out and looked horrible for at least a year that I remember. It may have been longer. So if I get a bob close to my a line, if I decide to grow it out I will have to deal with that again. Or I can keep it short. I'm just brain dumping here. I have a habit of focusing on really random things when I stress and as I need a haircut my hair is the current target. Who can tell me what this model is using to make her hair look like that? I know you can use a straightener to get the wavy look but it falls out without product. Does this look high maintenance? Would I have to straighten it every day? Also I made banana bread from scratch and it's really good but I should have mashed the bananas up more. If I had vanilla extract it would have been so much better.

What texture is your hair naturally?
The models look like they have some mousse, blew out their style, then went in with a flat iron to add waves.
If your bangs bug you, I suggest putting a bit of product in then blow drying with a round brush. If you're only styling your bangs, maybe add some gel and water into a spritzer bottle (like in the travel section) so you don't put too much and it distributes evenly.
OR you could get no bangs, do a side part, and keep 'em pinned!

And that texture DOES look high maintenance if you have naturally straight or curly hair.

I'm all about low maintenance hair. Those pictures are super pretty, but I think it looks high maintenance. I think even if you have a natural wave, the "deliberately messy" look can take work.
For me, either a chin-length Bob that's stacked in the back or a pixie is really low maintenance. I wash it, towel/air dry, and depending on the length I might quickly swipe a straightener over the longer bits or add just a touch of a men's product (doesn't smell flowery!) - I love the Boogies Casual Hair Clay from Dollar Shave Club. It's cheap and works.

So gel and water is how to get side bangs to look cute and adorable? I have done side parts before and I really like that look! Ugh I really want a new style haha.

Yeah I feel like I would need to watch some tutorials on how to look like I rolled out of bed like that haha. Oooo tell me about Dollar shave club!! I have heard the ads. How much is it a month?

The price depends on the blade you pick. I think mine if $6/mo,but I don't get deliveries every month. Sometimes they off your choice of free samples with your shipment - which I how I got into the hair clay (which is $10 for a pretty good size tub - it lasts me like 6 months). I like their shave butter, too. I have never been a blow drier, even when I had long hair. Too much work haha.

I had heard it was great but also that it was better for people who went through razors very quickly and it was up to one dollar per day on average. Oh ugh, wayyyy too much work haha.

They send you an email before each shipment and you can skip any shipment you want. I skip alot haha. I don't remember to change my blade as often as I should, so I have a backlog of blades.

Especially if there's a mirror involved. OMG.

I can do a lot of things when it comes to multitasking but if it involves hair or make-up I am an epic fail.

Something to remember if I ever have long hair again. My pixie isn't brush compatible lol They have inexpensive ones like this one: www.amazon.com/Revlon-Curl-Collections-Quick-Styling/dp/B001AFGLSO/ref=lp_11058221_1_8_s_it?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1502717808&sr=1-8 You plug it in and heat it up. Actually they work better for shorter hair, as wrapping long hair around them can get tangly with the cord, etc. If your hair grows out to a longer pixie, you can use this to add some volume, texture, and softness - make it kind of piecey and then hit it with the styling balm.
