Good morning!
We're getting actual fall weather today, which means... rain! We do need the rain, though, so I won't complain too much. I'll just plan to limit my outdoor time. I also managed to fall asleep before midnight last night, so I'm feeling somewhat better rested than I have been lately. I definitely need to get to the gym later. I have a feeling my trouble falling asleep would be helped by getting some exercise.
How are you all doing today?

I'm glad you're feeling a little more rested today efmcc67! I don't want to do anything today. I will make a packing list instead. That seems like a productive use of my time.

Glad you're feeling more rested, efmcc67! Packing lists are essential, righthandman. It's an excellent use of your time. It's fall-like here, I suppose. Low-70s and rain, which isn't ideal, but we need the precipitation. H starts overnights tonight, so I'll get to see him for about 2-3 hours before he has to go into work. Hopefully this only lasts a few weeks.

Welp. I made it to "lady hat" in my packing list and stopped. I now want to go take a 3 hour nap until it is time to go home.

Cousin's wife had their baby this morning. I know H is going to the hospital at some point to pick up niece, take her for dinner etc. I WANT to go meet the baby, but I also don't want to set a precedent for when RightHandBaby arrives...

righthandman, congratulations to your extended family for their new addition! I totally hear you on both wanting to meet the baby, and not wanting to set a precedent.

Ugh nooooo! efmcc67, fire drills are the WORST. Especially during the rain. We've had a bunch lately. My pants and bras are too tight. I need to go home so I can take them off.

righthandman , congratulations to your extended family for their new addition! I totally hear you on both wanting to meet the baby, and not wanting to set a precedent. Crap, H went for lunch and met the baby alone. So I'd have to go by myself or wait until after we get back from vacation.
