I've never seen an upside down tree and I'm ok with that.
@echappe86 thanks for the perspective on retail xmas. I do realize it takes time to set everything up, but I really hadn't thought about just how much time it takes.

So my team at large interfaces with other teams in the company; one one particular team there is a dude who is kind of... a pill. He's obnoxious, hard to work with, self centered; means well but can't get out of his own way and ends up screwing things up. IE- Causes firedrills, then doesn't respond for 1-2 days, blows off meetings he set up, etc.
He had to send a CW an email from his personal email.... SweetnSassyLastname@gmail.com.
WHAT? BAHAHAHA. FTR he's a recruiter - how the HELL did he even get the job here with an email like that?!

All 4 of SKs have weird personal email addresses. They have all rolled their eyes at me when I've urged them to create one with their name, for applying for jobs. But they don't listen. SMDH

SMDH My brother's email is along the lines of AmazingAdventuresofAlbert. It's never occurred to me to ask if he uses it for job searching. I'll take the fact that he has a job as a sign that he doesn't.

Okay, and this is turning into a theme! I just looked through a batch of resumes for a position we're hiring. One we can't even consider (no cover letter, no degree, no relevant experience), and for extra fun, her email address is very similar to the one sunshine posted.

Email addresses (gmail, yahoo, etc.) are free! Keep your silly/sassy/whatever email address, and create a basic one for job searching lol.

Boot update: neither size of the dress boots I ordered fits. They were so narrow in the foot (in wide width!) I couldn't get my foot in. The Sorels, however, fit my calf beautifully. They were a bit tight in the foot, but I think they'll be good if I exchange them for the next size up.

He was offsite and doesn't have a work phone so he specifically said "don't make fun of my personal email address." So I KNOW this was the one he was referring to. Even my first aim/aol email wasn't THAT bad/embarrassing. My boss makes fun of it when I use it to test stuff but I NEVER use it!

Nothing should surprise me. My one old co-worker has on her linkedin account that he nickname is Fracking. She does not work in or has any experience with the fracking or pipe line industry. At least to myself and others that have commented to me about it does not looks very professional.

I also hate the holiday creep. I don't mind the Christmas stuff being out because I understand what @echappe86 was saying, but I agree with righthandman, that it shouldn't be difficult to find a Halloween item the week of Halloween. OMG, sunshine. I don't understand people who don't have a professional email address.

I worked retail for years. My store was a 24 hour location tho, so no options for doing things when the customers were out. It's just a disaster. You have one customer saying it shouldn't be out yet, another saying we should have the holidays off and another shoving customers and employees aside to reach deals. And they are all buying the stuff they are complaining about. It sucks.
