December is almost here! What do you hope to get accomplished? Any larger things you want to lay the groundwork for this year?

Goals for December: - Maintain a healthier lifestyle, in spite of the holidays! I'll enjoy Christmas Eve, Christmas, and NY Eve, and have a treat here or there, but I'm not going to let the holidays and delicious, delicious cookies totally derail me.
- Decorate by December 10.
- Finishing hanging pictures in my apartment. I've only lived there since July 2016.
- Continue work on cleaning out my closet.
- Learn how to blind hem so I can tailor my own pants.
- Finish in the black.
Larger things to lay the groundwork for: - Prepare to launch H's website for January 1.
- 2018 will be the year that I actually learn how to brew beer. *gavel* Therefore, I need to find local sources for brewing supplies.
- I would like to actually finish NROL4W one of these years. I don't have enough time left in 2017, but I will maintain progress so I can complete it in 2018.

1. Be healthier (exercise and better food choices). 2. Find a therapist. I swear I'm going to do it one of these days. 3. Stay positive about our IF journey, and try to focus on positive things while we wait. 4. Be more mindful of spending (which, with the holidays is kind of a joke, but worth a shot).

I need to make that my goal as well. The number of times I’ve started NROL4W is a little embarrassing...

December goals: - try to get out of the house at least once during the week - some form of exercise - clean the house before leaving for Brazil
2018 goals: - would like to complete a project 365, including editing - piggy back from efmcc: start & finish NROL4W - get better at meal planning and following the plan - figure out how to slow down time because my baby is growing up way too fast

I have really one goal for 2018 (don't want to set the bar too high LOL) and it's to find a hobby for me that doesn't revolve around my kids. I am not sure what it is yet, but I want to find something that is just for me.

Order and send out cards. Go to Kennywood for the holiday card pictures. Make a gingerbread house. Move T's elf on the shelf every night. Remember the advent calender daily. Get/make T's three teachers a gift.

My goals for 2018. Pay off my last student loan before June. Not to feel so guilty for working evenings or weekends sometimes and buying T a gift every time I do.

snippet17 I'm sure you didn't mean for it to be, but the second item in your last post is hurtful. Would you mind deleting it?

I feel bad for posting it and I haven't been able to keep up with who is pregnant or currently TTC for awhile now which is no one's fault but my own.

I so rarely have goals.
Heal enough from surgery to be able to walk across my house. Not dislodge the leads.

We paid off two of our hospital bills today! That was a major goal. Now we can double down on my final one and hopefully get it paid off within 6 months if not sooner.
H & I have decided to sell the repair side of our business and focus on the dismantling side. We have been working on that side of the business all year and are finding it much more accommodating for our family life, as well as much less stressful for H. It is a little bitter sweet since we devoted so much to it. but after much thought and consideration we feel its the best move for us. So we need to finish our business evaluation by the end of the year so we can start negotiations in January. The manager who has been running it for us made a proposal so it should be a smooth transition we hope.
