So I can basically wear whatever to work currently, but I will need to be more business casual in my new position. I typically wear more pants than dresses. Where do you all buy your work clothes?

I'd say 90% of my wardrobe is from LOFT. They always have sales, so I never buy anything full-price. And most things have held up really well.
I wear jeans pretty much every day, so it's been awhile since I bought dress pants there.

The newest pants I've bought have been from LOFT and Banana Republic. I haven't bought tops in a while - I finally lost enough weight that I've been able to wear a lot of my older clothes, and those are still mostly LOFT, Banana, and the Limited (RIP).

I usually get mine from New York & Co. They are few if the few places I can get dress pants long enough for me. Banana Republic always has cute tops.

I agree with LOFT. Look at EXPRESS, too.

I like the New York and Co pants. Lately all of my work clothes have been from Kohl's when my size was fluctuating and I was being cheap af. They've stood up surprisingly well.

I have a pair from NY&co that are 4?5? Years old. Wear them 2-4x/mo always and they’re still holding up super well. I have some of target’s pants which are just ok. I miss the Limited as well.
For tops I LOVE chiffon button downs but those are harder to find than they were a few years ago. I do wear a lot of cardigans with tanks/camis and plain long sleeve T-shirt’s with a scarf or something.

Loft, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, and Express are my go-tos. I will say that Express pants tend to be extremely long on me. I'm on the short side (5'4"), and basically everything I buy from them needs to be hemmed. Loft and Ann Taylor are usually perfect.

LOFT and (old) Limited is most of my wardrobe.'m 5'3 and LOFTs pants are great...they have different cuts too. My office is business casual, so in the winter it's slacks/sweaters with the occasional skirt or sweater dress. I sometimes get nice tops from TJ Maxx/Marshalls. Target's new lines look promising too. Old Navy has stepped its game up too. Poshmark is a great resale app and I have gotten some great deals on there.

The Limited website is back up and running now! It is, but I haven't loved the stuff I've seen. And whenever I've checked, everything has been full price. Looks like they're running sales right now, but I don't find their tops to be worth the $70 price tag.

I'll definitely check out the ones at Loft and Ann Taylor and hopefully, I can avoid the expense.
