I guess most people are off from work? H kindly took today off so that we could spend time together. Unfortunately we have errands to run but at least we'll be in each other's company.
It's cold as fuck here. OMG. I don't want to get out of bed today.

I can't really complain about the cold because the high is still in the 50's...but I did have to turn the heater on yesterday Today is my last day off and H comes home tomorrow! I've got a little bit of cleaning to do to get the house guest ready for FIL. I have to work Wednesday and Thursday, so we'll be doing our Christmas on Friday. I can't wait to see Cooper's face when he sees his bounce house.

Good morning! I'm in the office today. It's pretty dead. I've been distracted the past few weeks and want to get stuff done. I also want to save some of my PTO JIC I need to take a few more days before the wedding. I'll have 7 days left (And it's a rolling accrual) but I like to keep a week in my bank. TWENTY FOUR DAYS! Ahhhhhh! FI had to go out plowing last night and was in work for 4am. Poor guy.

I'm in the office today too. I'm trying to catch up on stuff, since I'm going to have to leave early the rest of the week. I'm taking Pico to an ophthalmologist tomorrow afternoon, and then I'm taking half days Thursday and Friday since my parents will be in town. At least traffic was really light today?

We get to have Christmas with my dad and step-Mom today. It should be fun. It's cold and will be for the rest of the week into next week. We have a wind chill advisory through Thursday.

Hey ladies. It snowed like mad here yesterday. We have maybe 8". And it's cold as a witch's tit today. -5 with wind chills. I'm cuddled up under a blanket, playing video games. DH had to go out. FIL ate the rest of my cinnamon rolls last night! DH said he'd go get me more, but that's just stupid. I wouldn't have eaten them all anyway.

Hi friends! I'm still with H. It's fucking freezing here in NWI...-14 with windchill. H and I might venture out because we're getting cabin fever. My roast chicken and pumpkin roll both came out great. H said my pumpkin roll was the best it had been.

sunshine this year has flown by! phelpsface enjoy round 2 LINGERLONGER I would also offer my leftover cinnamon rolls, but I burnt them. H is being a trooper and is saying they are really good. No, they aren't man, they are burnt. I'm off again today. Another lazy day for now. We'll go to the movies this afternoon when I'm done with laundry because I currently have no clean publically acceptable pants. The dogs are conspiring against me I think.

It's freezing here today! I have to go to the grocery store but I'm less than motivated to get off the couch where it's cozy and warm.

Good afternoon, ladies. I am off for the week! We only got a little snow, about an inch, just enough for a white Christmas. It is cold here, too, highs <20. I mean, it's over 0, so it could be worse, but by far the coldest weather we've had this year. ass, I'm glad YH will be home tomorrow! sunshine, you're getting so close! eba1012, I hope Pico's appointment goes well tomorrow. I am trying to decide what to do with a present from my mother. It's an ankle-length, shapeless nylon nightgown. If this weren't bad enough, it is from my parents' honeymoon!!! Regifting your child used sleepwear from your own honeymoon, nearly 40 years later, seems bonkers to me. However, I'm apparently supposed to treasure this forever because it was a gift from my grandmother to my mother, and, as far as my family's concerned, "It's from Nana!!!" is an excuse to keep every damn thing. I don't know what to do with it. Do I give it back to my mother with apologies? Donate it without saying anything? Throw it in the trash, because it's a nightgown from the 70s? Bury it in my closet and try to forget that it exists?

sunshine I can’t believe you’re getting married IN LESS THAN A MONTH!!! Please AW. I’m still a little insulted that I never got my invite though. I didn’t even make the B list No. Just no efmcc67. What was your mother thinking?? It’s freezing here. The joke has been that it’s colder than the North Pole. Still not sure why anyone thought it’d be a good idea to live here. E and I are staying inside while H goes out to buy some last minute things we need. We have a couple friend from toronto coming over today. We’re making dumplings and I’m so excited! They also brought their dog, so him and Troy will be reunited!

Oh god efmcc67. I would try to give it back and tell her that you're going to donate it if she doesn't take it back but I am a pretty blunt person.
