Work girls are ordering Chinese food for lunch... Its my favorite. I ate a small b-fast to make up for this.
What do you order? I just checked calorie counts on my favorites and they are OUTRAGOUS.
Can you help me? What do you guys get when ordering that's healthier?

Veggie stir fry sounds good. I am trying to avoid rice... I love carbs so that's my downfall.

I might be too late to help but I usually order steamed veggies with a protein and a side of my favorite sauce. Then I control the amount of sauce. I generally get some rice too but eat a small portion.

Thank you all for the help... I ended up getting chicken lettuce wraps and splitting them with my mom so it was half the cals. I could have made a better decision but I think this was okay since its gym day and I tend to have a bigger lunch those days.

Honestly, when I do chinese, I just say "screw it, I'm blowing it today" and order what I love. Even the "healthy" options are pretty bad for you, so I just do it really rarely, and when I do, I eat what I love to make it worth it.

I agree stage... I ordered what I wanted... What I love and then split it. I'm still full and don't feel guilty.

Beef and broccoli is usually what I order. Not great but better than the fried chicken options

I always get the steamed chicken and broccoli (brown sauce on the side) when I'm trying to stick to healthy eating. Otherwise, bring on the sweet and sour chicken.

Buddha's Feast, if they have it, isn't bad. It's usually basically lightly stir fried veggies. Also, I like Szechuan green beans, but at restaurants they can be oily. Chinese, or the takeout kind at least, is a tough one... but oh so delish.
