For a brief moment when I woke up I thought it might be Friday. It's always so sad when that happens.
I got a good "wog" in yesterday on the treadmill and even dropped below an 11 minute pace for a brief time, although I was back up to 12 for most of the jogging portion. Food was reasonable, I indulged in some extra wine which would easily have put me over without the workout, but stayed under with it.
Food is planned out to be good for the day, and I'll try to get a walk in around my neighborhood this evening.

engr0308 - @gildedcoyote's explanation is a good one. I think once you try them out you will also feel a slight difference in how you use your legs to complete each. I think the split squat is really closer to a single legged squat than a lunge (all/most of your weight is on the door on the ground, the elevated foot is mostly for balance). annathy03 - how have the "wogs" been going? Yeah for wine & not going over

I didn't mean to post so soon... entropicbeauty - I'm extra tired today too Yesterday went mostly as planned. I went to crossfit. I swear the workout nearly killed me. I was the last one done and everyone was cheering me on. It is the only reason I didn't quit. Food was as planned, except for dinner. I had BBQ take out with Mac & cheese and broccoli, so I think it still fit okay. Dinner got messed up because I ended up on the hunt for a loose dog that we'd seen when we were about to walk our dogs around 4 pm. Hours later we were finally able to help catch the dog and find someone to take him in for the night. Unfortunately he has no tags and was not micro chipped so no word on owners. Hopefully his owners are located or someone will adopt him.

NonosG they are going pretty well. Sometimes I go "backwards" a little, but I easily have more endurance and can go faster than when I started. I hope the dogs owners are found and that they microchip him after this.

Going "backwards" is even something that happens to people who have been running forever (generally it's just chalked up as a bad run). Everyone has one now and then. Awesome that you've been able to see improvement.
