Hi ladies! How was your weekend?
My weekend was decent. There was a lot of birthday celebrating going on. Friday we went to dinner with my ILs and had a yummy chocolate cake. Saturday I ran a 10K and then went to an intro class at my crossfit gym. They are trying to start a program specifically for runners. Then H and I did some shopping and later in the evening we met a bunch of friends at the bar to celebrate my birthday. I had a headache most of the day so I barely finished one beer but it was so much fun to hang out with all of my friends.
Sunday we did some shopping and I spent most of the afternoon on the couch resting. I don't feel ready for this week even though we went grocery shopping. I feel like I should have prepped yesterday instead of laying on the couch.
I skipped Crossfit this morning in favor of more sleep. I'm considering going tonight but I'm just not sure yet. I might stay home to prep for the week.

Glad to hear you had a good birthday weekend NonosG! Nice work fitting in workouts even on your birthday weekend This weekend was pretty good for me. We had a delayed Easter dinner on Sunday, so lots of food there, but I tried to stick with mostly healthy choices. Food on Sunday was good. I went out on a two hour hike on both days, and on Saturday I was out biking. I slipped out going too fast on gravel around a corner though and took quite a tumble - tore up my hand and my leg and got a flat so I had to walk home. Luckily I wasn't far away at that point but it was a good reminder to be careful! Hope you all have a great Monday.

jaenella - Tumbling from a bike sounds so scary to me. I'm glad you weren't seriously injured and you weren't too far from home.

Hey ladies! I forgot to log into MFP on Saturday so my streak started over but our weekend was good. I wasn't *too* bad with food, but there was quite a bit of wine, and I didn't bother tracking any of it. Will get back on the horse this week My right heel is still hurting when I walk a bit so I think tonight will be non-running exercises like ab work and using my 5 lb weights, hopefully that gets better soon (it's not super painful by any means, I just don't want to aggravate it). Dr. Google seems to think stretching, resting it, and maybe getting new running shoes (ooooh, valid shopping excuse!) are in order. jaenella that sounds scary! I hope you heal quickly. entropicbeauty I'm in awe that you're still being this active at 8 months, and way to go on the girl scout cookies still being around!

I totally forgot to tell you that I signed up for another half marathon this weekend. It is October 18 in Detroit. The best part is I signed up because one of my friends wants to cross it off her bucket list, so my only goal for the race is to get her across the finish line. And just this afternoon another friend signed up to do it too! I feel like my running motivation is rubbing off on a few girl I do crossfit with.
