I can think of no witty titles for the thread today. How was everyone's weekend? H was working all weekend so I spent the weekend running errands and deep cleaning the house. Has anyone ever gotten their floors retiled? We're thinking of retiling the bathroom floor, but we need to do some research into the costs.
I didn't track food this weekend, but my step counts were pretty high. Saturday I was at 7500 and Sunday was 12000. Food was decent too and I should have been right on target.
Unfortunately this week is a four ten hour days week for me, so I'm not sure how much exercise I'll be getting in. I'm aiming to get 3 short 20 min workouts, but we'll see what time I actually make it home.
Have a great day everyone!

I did very little this weekend, food I didn't track completely but I think it was around maintenance each day. Saturday we fixed our dripping shower, and only had to make 2 trips to Lowe's . Despite that activity was pretty low. I need to work out tonight, even if it's just a walk I need SOME measurable activity.

I've been slacking for weeks now. I did the math yesterday, and I'm about 9 weeks out from the big day, so I NEED to get back at it. I previously lost 5-6 inches in about 2 months, so I know if I force myself to start working out again and watching what I eat, I can make it happen. I'm soooo not feeling it though. I feel ridiculously lazy.
The biggest problem I'm facing is that before, I was working out first thing in the morning. I would commute to work by bicycle, lift weights at the gym at work, then shower and head to my office. Now that school is back in session for the mini-me, I don't have that extra time available anymore. Working out after work isn't an option either because: family stuff.
That leaves me with lunchtime to workout. Now, I'm fortunate that I have that option since there's a gym in our office building; but I'm so unmotivated to do it at that time. It just seems like so much work. It isn't even the workout itself either; it's the whole having to shower for a second time and get ready all over again that makes me want to "lose track of time and accidentally on purpose miss my workout." Especially considering that I then have to shower a 3rd time once I get home because commuting to and from work by bicycle makes me sweaty and all sorts of gross.
Ugh. Somebody motivate me!

Omd guys its been a day. I'm going to get a little yoga in my life when I get home. And then.a lot of wine. efmcc67 - oo sounds like that was a good workout! Congrats on the scale victory!/ @eba1012 - omg biscuits and jam sound amazing right now. Yummmmmm. Im totally with you on the running thing too. I want to get back into it, but just can't this summer because its too dang hot. entropicbeauty - I hope the treats were good at least and to parrot efmcc67 and eas1223, I think family get togethers get a pass for GIS. It's not like its every weekend so don't worry too much. engr0308 - bummer about the shoes. I think I missed what happened, but positive vibes going your way! Hope everything gets better soon. @bellaluna - congrats on the 2lbs! Enjoy your steak this weekend! eas1223 - ugh donuts are definitely a downfall in my household too. Once the sweets you like are gone though, it will be so much easier to control. I took a walk during my lunch break and it turns out that there is an Orange Theory right by my work! I may have to stop in and get a brochure. runnermom - those don't sound like fun time restrictions! How sweaty do you get when you do strength training? If its not too sweaty, I'd consider skipping a shower during work and saving it for when you get home. Just dry shampoo and washing your face and etc can work really well.

I sweat like a dude. Even worse, I smell like a dude when I sweat; so even if I could towel off, dry shampoo, and wash my face, I would still reek. It's like, I can smell myself bad.

runnermom - I feel your pain. It's taken me 5 yrs to get into a regular habit. Is your H at home in the early morning? I've found that if I go work out before he and DS wake up, I never make excuses. I tried doing it at night and things always came up. I also try to go at lunch occasionally but it's just like you said. Showering an extra time in the middle of the day is never fun. Good luck! I actually just went ahead and ordered the 21 Day Fix Extreme. I figure I can do the DVDs before FI and the kid wake up in the morning. It should hopefully only require an earlier wake up of about 30 minutes...

winelover123 - you should check out the OrangeTheory. They typically have a promotion where you can try unlimited classes for a week. Otherwise, here it's $99/mo for 8 classes/mo or $150/mo for unlimited. I have the 8/mo then pay $11 ea for any classes over my allotted. Take a look at your local one's FB page to see what their deals are. Thanks for the tip!
