I don't think I've ever posted here before. So this is fun.
I'm starting yoga classes on Monday. I'm going to do them at least twice a week. One class is a beginner class and the other is all levels (which I've been warned might be too much for me), but I'm going to just sort of go for it. I need to focus on me right now and having happy Endorphins. Any advice for me?

Yoga is awesome! It's definitely itely a practice where you focus on yourself, both mentally and physically. Try to get to class early and let the teacher know if you have any physical limitations and that your new to yoga. Also let him/her know if you don't want to be touched - most of the time, the teacher will adjust your position of its incorrect. They can do that by explanation too though.
Ditto @emfcc67 - take the easier modification if you need it and don't be afraid to back out of a pose if its not working for you.

My first class is tonight! I got my yoga mat and my clothes all laid out at home so I'm good to go

It was a beginner yoga class. I LOVED it! The teacher thought I'd done it before, but I hadn't. It was so calming and it felt great to stretch and I was able to do all of the poses
