1. What's the plan? I've given up beer, hoping that it helps me drop the weight since I was having a beer with dinner several nights a week. Although I am allowing myself to drink wine on the weekends. On the fitness front, planning on after dinner walks at least 3 times this week and getting on the elliptical at least 3 days too.
2. RAWVs? My fitbit is definitely motivating me to get up and walk more. One thing that I don't like about the Alta vs. the Zip is that if I'm pushing a cart or stroller or holding Gianna then it doesn't count those steps.
3. Do you buy specific workout clothes (sports bras don't count), or do you wear old Ts and sweats from the last century? I mostly wear tshirts and yoga pants.
Random:
If you won the lottery, what would you do first? I would quit my current job and take my family on a vacation to Europe.
To be clear I wouldn't stop working all together, I'd just put my energy into starting my own business with H and my mom. I think H would stay at his job part time because he really likes it and the hours are very flexible.

bellaluna I do really like it the Alta. It's slim and I barely notice it's there. You can choose from a few different screen display options. It's great as a watch, it has a silent (vibrating) alarm setting which I LOVE because I hate waking up to loud alarms. It also vibrates to remind you to get up and walk around. And I like that it tracks my sleep, I feel it's especially relevant to me right now since I have a baby waking me up a few times/night. @swimmy1988 That's a good idea, however I rarely wear pants with a belt loop. I wear a lot of dresses, leggings, and yoga pants!

@swimmy1988 When I had the zip I clipped it on my bra strap and I think that actually gave the most accurate reading, but the alta with the wristband would be way too bulky to loop around a bra strap!

kristenkay- I find the same thing with my Charge, and I just slip it into a pocket (pants or jacket) and it generally picks the steps up that way. What about on your shoe, or ankle? I hate not getting my count, so I've been known to do weird things to get it to work... I may have a problem. Good idea, I'll see if it fits my ankle or get creative with my shoes! It definitely feels like wasted steps if the fitbit doesn't count them LOL. I won't hold on to the elliptical handles since it doesn't count steps if I do!
