It's creeping closer to summer, ladies!!
1) How far along are you?
2) Symptoms, Aww Moments, Complaints, Concerns
3) Are you/have you received or signed up for free samples or rewards points from various baby product manufacturers? (ie, formula, bottles, diapers, wipes, etc)

1) 35 weeks, 3 days. 32 days till Due Date!!
2) Just feeling the baby roll/push around. Have moments of shortness of breath at night that wake me up, and yesterday had some uncomfortable pressure on my floating ribs. Ankle/foot swelling meant I had to give up work loafers for a ballet flat that doesn't cover as much of my foot/has more give.
Dip Dyed the curtain for the nursery this weekend, and I'm very pleased with how it came out. I've been photographing it and looking at it in different lights to see if I need to add embellishment....I don't. Yesterday when I got home from work, the entire room was a soft, ocean blue glow from the outside light coming through the curtain.
3) I logged with both pampers and huggies, just to see what sort of rewards structure they have. I need to put in the codes for the wipes and diapers we have on hand. Didn't sign up for them, but received two free bottles thru Destination Maternity purchases, and got an Enfamil sample from my Amazon welcome box. Yesterday, three cans of different kinds of similac formula arrived in a sample box. I intend to breastfeed, but if I can't/it's not working well for Chipmunchkin, I'm glad to have some stuff on hand to try for her.

We're up next, chipmunk!!! Who's gonna have a baby first, you or me? You have a slight advantage over me in terms of gestational age, but not by much. It could still go either way. Or maybe they'll be born on the same day! 1) 34 weeks 2) I feel good, really good in fact. My feet are also starting to swell but overall all the typical pregnancy discomforts are still really minor and easy to ignore. Baby's movements have definitely changed from sharp kicks into more rolling/pushing (exactly as you said chipmunk!) so I know he's getting bigger and running out of space. I've been walking a minimum of 30 minutes per day, sleeping a minimum of 8 hours per night, and medidating for 10 minutes every morning. Gotta live this fabulous healthy lifestyle NOW before it's no longer possible! 3) I got an Amazon registry welcome box which really didn't have much in it. Otherwise I haven't signed up for any freebies and I'm not planning to because I don't like getting on lists.

If your into freebies. I got a tons of samples or free stuff from gerber, similac, and enfamil. All of the unopen formula that didn't work for us we donated to a food bank. I got free stuff due to my registries at target and bru. We love pampers swaddlers so I am already looking at the high end prizes with their rewards since you can earn bonus rewards and how many diapers we go through.

@daubachsgirl23 - no prime. Right now we don't really see a cost advantage to having it. But that is good to know. I have a lot of coupons for pampers and save them up when I see the target deals and have coupons for them from cartwheel.

chipmunk and gingerlady you guys are getting so close! 1) 12 weeks 2) same ol' 1st tri battles: exhausted and naseous; still a little sick every morning but the light is at the end of the tunnel. Everyday it's a sign I have a little baby still growing in there so I cannot complain. I still need to go get some blood work done. When I went last week, its a walk-in style clinic and the wait was way too long so I could not wait that long but I need to make that a priority this week. Last time I was in and out so hopefully I can find a good time in the next day or two. Otherwise I just need to suck it up and wait so it gets done before my appointment next week. 3) I have not signed up for anything yet. Not sure if they are worth it and right now I don't have anywhere to really "store" anything so I am trying to be good and not shop for baby just yet. I most likely will look into Amazon Mom and come summer will start stocking up on stuff.

We have Prime, and have often found we get the same item for cheaper on Amazon than at the store (unless it's bulk staples, like at Costco, or certain perishables). Plus, there's a fulfillment center 20 minutes down the street from our house, so often our free 2 day shipping is really free next day delivery, so it's worth it for us. Prime One Hour Delivery just launched in our city, and we got a promo coupon to use. We might test it out in the next week or so, see if it's convenient/useful at all. My supervisor is friggin awesome. The paint/carpeting schedule for my office got pushed by nearly a month. Now, instead of my area being painted/carpeted this weekend, it's scheduled for the end of May....starting the Wednesday before I'm due, and to be completed the day after, over the holiday weekend. My supervisor has gone ahead and stated "yeah, why don't you just WFH those days, rather than be subjected to paint and carpet glue fumes?" Considering WFH is generally not permitted, I'm thrilled. I planned to work right up until I go into labor, so, provided I don't go a week early, I'll probably be home and working in a more relaxed setting (with more relaxed clothing!), 15 minutes from my hospital, when I go into labor.

I'm planning on buying all of my baby stuff (and nursing stuff too) on Amazon. Between Amazon Prime, my Amazon registry 15% completion discount, the fact that I have over $1,000 of rewards I've accumulated over several years on my Amazon credit card, AND the fact that the prices are competitive, if not the cheapest you can find.
Maybe Amazon should pay me for advertising for them on this forum - hahaha!

chipmunk yay for being able to WFH! I'm so thankful that my job is as flexible as it is. I need to be in the office 3 days a week for clinic and meetings and such, but the other 2 days are up-for-grabs and I think I've managed to talk my way into WFH those two days after coming back from maternity leave. For now I'm accepting this as a decent trade-off for the fact that I make about 2/3 of what I could with my level of training and qualifications. I'll worry about taking my career to the next level in a few years.

DH is making me melt. We've a white board on the fridge. At the top, it has our wedding date, with "Happiest Day Ever" written by us underneath. Under that, we've had a countdown going for Chipmunchkin, ie, "X weeks Y days pregnant, A weeks, B days to go!" Today, I modified it to just a day countdown, of 30 days left until Chipmunchkin is due. DH saw it when he came home for his lunch (at dinner time, due to his shift), got a huge grin, and said, "Pretty soon that (our wedding date), will be the SECOND happiest day ever!" I'm the one getting pushed in the ribs, and she's already got him wrapped around her tiny fingers I should expect nothing less- he spent 45 minutes last night reading Dr. Suess books to her and describing the pictures while she moved around in response to his voice.

DH and I had our bootcamp classes yesterday. DH felt his was kind of a bust. Despite the description, there wasn't really much of the hands on practice (the bootcamp billed itself as a sort of newborn care class just for daddies). There was a father there with his 5 month old daughter, and DH feels he learned more watching the father interact with his daughter, soothe her when she fussed, ways he held her, etc. My section was different. Talked about hormonal changes through pregnancy and post partum, questions about breastfeeding, Ways we can support ourselves and our partners in co-parenting, etc. Unfortunately, as before, all the newborn care classes in our area are on afternoons/evenings where DH has to work. So we're watching some youtube videos. DH was reading to Chipmunchkin again last night. She bounced around through the first book, but calmed down in the second one (one fish two fish red fish blue fish). She seems to relax a lot whenever he reads a Dr. Seuss rhyming book to her- I think it's the cadence to his voice. He loves the idea that he's soothing her to sleep at night. I think this is going to become part of her bedtime routine
