OK so I want to try to keep up with running over the winter. So I was thinking of aiming for two half hour runs per week. This will be done on a treadmill most likely. I hate treadmill running.
Does anyone have any recs of things I can watch/listen to that is around half an hour? I get bored just listening to music and start thinking about how much I hate running on a treadmill, so the run just sucks. I think I might need something that requires more focus than just music. Also, I won't have access to the internet, so the watching might be a little more difficult than the listening (but I might be willing to use the data on my phone).

Do you have Prime by chance? I don't know how popular that is in Canada? If so, you can download shows, that way you could watch without using data.

I listen to audio books while I run/walk. I borrow them from my local library.

I love the idea of an audio book from the library! Any good recommendations?

I love the idea of an audio book from the library! Any good recommendations? Personally, I like popular fiction on audiobook, things that I might not get around to reading otherwise, but probably don't require 100% of my concentration. I love David Sedaris on audiobook. I own most of his books, and re-listened to all of them while I was packing to move. I also listened to Stieg Larrson's Millennium trilogy (The Girl Who ... books), and the Hunger Games trilogy. I've heard the Harry Potter audiobooks are really good, even if you've already read them, but I haven't listened to them myself.

The only time I've ever really listened to audio books was right after my laser eye surgery when I was supposed to be resting my eyes. I'll have to see what the library has available.

Audiobooks are good. I enjoy podcasts too if you can find ones that are particularly interesting for you.

The ones narrated by Dave somebody, I think? Not sure if there are multiple versions out there. I might have to revisit them at some point, maybe after baby arrives, while I'm feeding. Eta: jk about the narrator, she must have said Jim Dale.

I drove 8 hours straight from Houston to Pensacola by myself listening to a Harry Potter audiobook and it absolutely flew by.
