Good morning LMC and everyone else! DPO10 today. My post-O temps seem to be fluctuating a lot. I'm not entirely sure how accurate they are because a few times I've taken my temp twice (immediately, without moving an inch!) and get readings that differ by as much as 0.3 degrees. (Anyone else see this, by the way?). I guess the overall trend is fairly clear though. I'm going to do my best to wait out the week without testing. AF is due Sat or Sun. I did wake up this morning with very sore breasts, which is not something I've ever noticed before and is not a typical pre-menstrual symptom for me. However, I'm also very aware that I'm paying way more attention to my body than I normally do and I don't want to be that person who interprets everything as a pregnancy symptom. ETF stupid FF image won't attach correctly this morning... Attachments:

At least your temp is above cover which is all that matters. LMC I wish I could give you advice for sleeping better but even before getting pregnant I went to the bathroom 1-2 times a night and woke up randomly throughout the night.

gingerlady - I sincerely admire your restraint. I would be peeing on all the sticks at 10DPO. Fingers crossed for you!! Hahaha! Thanks! Yeah, well we'll see if I can hold myself to that promise... I guess I just never imagined myself being the type of woman who would check one of these super-early-response tests, especially because my cycle is VERY regular (I can't remember ever being even a single day late in 10+ years). But now that we're actually making a serious attempt to do this correctly, my attitude has been changing. I will admit that an unopened box of First Response sticks is sitting in my bathroom cabinet, waiting. BTW, I fixed my image disaster. Sorry if you got spammed by my error before I had a chance to fix it this morning!

gingerlady - never take your temp twice in a day. It will make you go crazy. Trust me I kmow from experience. Everyone pays much more attention to any soreness when tou are ttc compared to before you ttc.

Everyone pays much more attention to any soreness when tou are ttc compared to before you ttc. Yeah, I only did this twice and I've stopped. Lesson learned! I guess I was trying to get a sense of what the error was in the thermometer, to help me understand the fluctuations in the chart. The fact that the readings were so different was actually very reassuring to me, because I know to interpret the chart with a LARGE margin of error around every data point.

Also I was looking that one of your "stats" on your chart is breaking out. I have three zits. I have never had 3 zits at the same time in my entire life. Stupid hormones. Yeah I dunno why I charted that. I'm typically an acne-prone person, but the past few days are a bit worse than normal. Maybe premenstrual, maybe not. Oh, as long as we're talking about over-interpreting symptoms: I'm bloated. But I also just came back from a family wedding weekend and ate TONS of amazing Italian food. I pee'd like 4 times already this morning. But I also had 2 cups of strong coffee because I've been up since 5am. I'm irritable. But oh yeah, I'm always irritable.

Stay above cover, ladies! Symptom spotting is the worst, btw. And we're all guilty of doing it. For me, the telltale sign was being suddenly super clumsy. Like dropping something three times in a row without ever having moved from the spot... Losing my balance while standing still... seriously clumsy. Oh, if this is true then I've been pregnant my whole life! No no no, no symptom spotting for me. I'm being a good, patient, logical girl. Truth: I'm a scientist so I know it's all BS, but come on, can't we have a little fun while we are on this journey?

What I thought you werr at dpo 12. And similar to @jennylee mine dipped twice right at cover the month I got pregnant.
I used wondfos, but I used them up before I got a positive.
I didn't get a positive until dpo 12 or 13.

I got a super faint line on 9dpo with a wondfo, then went to buy a FRER. A piece of advice I got from my sister was to stop temping after a confirmed O. What will happen has already happened and you are just going to make yourself crazy about it. I am happy I took her advice, it made the 2WW a little less nutty for me. I think this is a good idea, though I'm still in the process of learning what my cycle is like so I'm going to plot out this full cycle and maybe next. I want to be sure I'm getting my O date correct because my BBT baseline is a bit wonky so far and tracking CM is hard. Also, I want to be sure my body is producing enough progesterone to support implantation, and I guess BBT is a good indication of that. Still above cover, still haven't tested

Hahaha! Peer pressure!!!! I'll be in the woods all weekend, tampons in hand. If tampons are not necessary then I'll probably POAS Monday. Or maybe I'll test earlier if I get impatient

I'm new to this whole charting thing, but my impression is that you can't really read anything into your temps until many days DPO - basically when AF is due. Temp spikes or sustained high temps could be due to progesterone being produced by the luteal follicle OR the implanted embryo and you can't really determine the difference from your chart. If you're not pregnant the temp only falls below cover the day of (or maybe the day before) AF. So, the bottom line is that you can only drive yourself crazy with speculation if you read too much into your temp curve (hence sarahufl's previous suggestion to stop temping after confirmed O). Staying patient is a hard fight... I'm with you LMC! Good luck!

Is it too early for you to start peeing yet??? (The TTC boards make me feel like a creep since I'm so invested!) I'm with you. I'm two minutes from buying cheap-o tests and peeing on them myself. And my tubes are tied so obviously I can't be pregnant. I just need SOMEONE to be testing.

If my temp goes up at all or stays steady tomorrow, I'll use a Wondfo. And the next day. And the next day. Until AF or BFP. Is tomorrow your birthday?

Temp drop and a BFN for me today too on DPO13. I guess I had to confirm I was out for this cycle. Expecting AF this weekend.
Happy birthday LMC! Best of luck for the coming days!

Awww, you ladies are sweet. Thanks If AF comes I'm gonna have a healthy quantity of booze for Labor Day. It's been a shitty week (and not only from a TTC standpoint), and I really want one (or three) of those mimosas illustrated in eba1012's gif.
