My baby basics class was yesterday. It was only a 3 hour course. A bit over whelming, but I learned a lot and answered a lot of questions I did not know I had. H and I can diaper a baby doll like a champ! Babies never move, pee, or poop when you change the diaper correct. Most were due in December and January. There was maybe 2 couples due in February and only myself due in March. I understand I am a bit early, but I don't think I would wait until I was 25 weeks to take classes. The one couple was in this class, baby CPR, and another one today and they are due the beginning of December. I hope my boobs stop growing. If they do I will have to find a cheap online store since no one near me sells 44DDD (which is my current size) and I had to drive a bit to a store that sells that size. Soma had to order me one bra since they didn't have my size in a nude.

I know it was a big ordeal because she lives in a very rural area. I'm wondering if I should sign my husband up for one of these classes... I may or may not go with him for support/solidarity.

I never had a single Braxton contraction. And even when they tried to induce me (cervadril) prior to the c-section...contractions felt like annoying menstrual cramps? Granted I only had very mild contractions before Hunter was not tolerating labor and they did a c-section...but the best I could describe them were cramping. Nothing in my back, no sharp sensations, etc. but I'm sure they would have gotten much more intense as labor progressed.,.we just never got that far. I also had Pitocin for 24 hours (give or take) after my c-section to encourage my uterus to contract. All I remember feeling were again like menstrual cramps - but I had some good drugs on board and was out of it so I'm not completely confident that's all they were. The cervedil softens your cervix but doesn't start contractions, so those were likely BH. I never felt any of the post-birth contractions... don't know if that was the meds or the euphoria of having the baby OUT! :-p The cervadril actually started pretty regular contractions for me...which in turn caused baby to start having. Pretty regular decels in his heart rate...and then led to the team deciding to stop the induction and send me for a c-section instead of progressing to the pitocin and more intense contractions. So not sure what they would be considered...but I know my induction started and stopped there LOL

Thanks, but I am not getting maternity bras since I am not breastfeeding. I don't live in a rural area. The issue is the stores closest to me are not the best and it is about the 5th time the mall closest to me has declared bankruptcy. It is a new mall, but they made the mall too big and cannot get and keep good stores.

snippet17 - I ordered bra "expander" things off of Amazon. They allowed me to increase the band size of a couple of my bras and that saved me from having to buy all new bras. I don't know if that will help you at all...but it worked for me (granted, I'm small chested)

It doesn't hurt to try it out and a lot cheaper compared to a bra.
