1. How far along are you?
2. How do you feel?
3. Any recent bump pictures?

5 weeks, 2 days. No bump but a shit load of bloat.
I feel like garbage. I woke up super nauseous today and with stomach cramps, but I think those cramps are tummy troubles. I ate so much garbage last night. So dumb. I've had some pressure/cramping essentially since I found out I was pregnant, but luckily no more bleeding since Saturday evening.
Can't wait for my u/s tomorrow.

1. 36w2d
2. Yesterday was weird. My legs were achy like it does when I get my period. It wouldn't have been to bad if it didn't happen at kmart but it went away when h and I got to giant eagle.
My right hand keeps having tha t falling asleep/tingling feeling. I am not into that at all.
Honestly I don't think after this week I could have possibly worked. This is just due to how I feel. It will be weird not checking my work email often or my work cell phone. But they are turning my cell phone off so they can save $50 **eyeroll** it actually makes me concerned that they need to save $50. That is a decent amount for me but that shouldn't be much for this company.
3. Its on H's phone. I will nee d him to send it to me.

I told DH in the car today that my skirt suit is not zipped the whole way. My clothes were already a little snug because I had gained a bit of "Oh poor me" weight before the IVF cycle. Now I'm so bloated. Can I just start wearing sweatpants everywhere? or once I see a heartbeat can I start buying maternity clothes at SIX WEEKS? SO BLOATED.

1) 24 weeks, 2 days 2) Tired- my sleep schedule got all kinds of messed up over the weekend, and the little one has taken to 5 am kicking sessions that I can actually feel enough to wake me if I'm not at "coma level" unconsciousness. Also getting ankle/foot swelling in the later afternoons, though sitting with my feet elevated for 10-15 minutes makes it go away. 3) No belly/bump photos, though my mom did say this past weekend that I'm starting to "look pregnant" as opposed to just my belly fat sticking out. Cute moment- DH felt Chipmunchkin move for the first time, after I had him gently press where I was feeling her kick the most. He's thrilled to finally feel her, but doesn't want to do it again until she's moving more firmly on her own- he's afraid of squishing her with his hand/fingers. I suggested he talk to her more while feeling her bump into his hand, and he went and grabbed "I'll Love You Forever" to read it to her. Sweet and adorable, but the funny moment came about halfway through the book. He had his mouth right by my belly/kick point while reading to her, and she kicked hard enough to nudge him in the lower lip. Yep, our little girl has already popped her daddy in the mouth once LMC, you and I are in the same professional field, so I know the pain of work clothes, especially when you have to be ready in case you need to go to court. Buy a couple of belly bands to fit over the tops of your skirts and under your blouses/tops (unless you're tucking them in, at which point I'd suggest getting a few blousy shells instead of using button downs). That way, you can continue wearing your skirts and pants without zipping them up all the way, and without worrying about them falling off.

LMC - buy some side panel pants or use a hair tie for now to make sure the button can be close with some room. I tried to think of a way yoga pants to be business casual and I'm couldn't. Old navy's website has some nice dressy pants.

Old navy's website has some nice dressy pants. Also, more for in the spring/summer than now....there are dressy skirts with elastic waists and pleating that are comfortable enough for baby bump and bloating, and solid colors will blend in well with a few unpaired suit jackets.
I'm currently able to get away with calf length leggings in cold weather under skirts of similar length in black and gray that my mom made. (I bought some bigger sized bike shorts for warm days to go under my skirts, as I'll otherwise get thigh chafing). Of course, it helps that our day to day dress code is business casual, and my boss also favors calf and ankle length skirts with forgiving lines and fabrics.

I am really starting to think that you might be carrying twins. What with the high beta and the bloating. OMG I was terrified thinking that this morning. High beta, bloating, extra cramping, and that little bit of bleeding? I mean, I know none of this is super scientific, but I was thinking about it. They should be able to tell tomorrow! I assume too early for a heartbeat, but they'll at least be able to see the yolk sac(s). I'll take a 2 for 1 deal. haha.
I'm feeling surprisingly calm today. But I REALLY wish tomorrow would come already. I need the reassurance that taco chip is still hangin out in there.

If you're carrying twins or multiples, I call first dibs on sending some of those tongue in cheek "buy one get one free" style onesies to send to you!

PS - my boobs feel giant and super sore today, so I'm hoping that's a good sign that taco chip is still snuggled safe and sound in there.

Old navy's website has some nice dressy pants. This. I have a belly band and HATED it - I was just constantly adjusting it as it kept riding up or down. No bueno. Side panel pants are amazing though, and some of them are not even maternity so you can safely buy them with no fear of bad luck. I'm wearing these right now and they're SO comfy on my remaining blump. Now that I see that brand is on sale I may go buy some more. And also. They do make dress pant yoga pants. I hated the belly band, too! I can see myself wearing the side panel pants that I bought until they are worn out (after pregnancy of course). I could wear my belt with them which is great since I am so used to wearing a belt.

I tried to search for more side panel pants on Macys with no luck! Any search tips or other links? I want 100000 pairs.

@lmc0323 - I bought all of mine from old navy due to price. I don't think I seen any side panels at Target.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a contraction timer? I used the babycenter one but it takes awhile to load.

Guys, should I be concerned about a high resting heart rate? Mine has been in the 90s-low hundreds when I've checked several times today on the Fitbit. Not sure how accurate that is, but is it something to be concerned about?

Guys, should I be concerned about a high resting heart rate? Mine has been in the 90s-low hundreds when I've checked several times today on the Fitbit. Not sure how accurate that is, but is it something to be concerned about? Avg normal heart rate for men and women is 60-100 bpm, with women tending to have higher heart rates (female avg tends to be 60-80 bpm) and differences in age groups.
Pregnant women tend to have resting heart rates 10 to 20 bpm above their normal rate, and rates fluctuate throughout the day based on activity levels, stress, caffeine (or caffeine withdrawal/lack), etc. You should be ok. Fitbits, while a pretty decent measure of your heart rate, are not the end all be all for accurate readings.
However, if you're feeling very concerned about it, take your heart rate when you first get up in the morning. That's the best time to do it, before you get stressed and active. You can track it in mornings, and take another reading say around noon, and then in the mid/late afternoon, to show your doctor after your rate is taken during your next office visit. He or she should be able to look at the measurements you've gotten and address any concerns on whether your rate is too high or just right.

Not sure how accurate that is, but is it something to be concerned about? are you hydrated? You may need to drink a bit more water now that you're pregnant because your body is going to be producing more blood since it needs to circulate to baby, too. I agree. Make sure you are drinking a lot. I had to increase my water intake by a one bottle in the first trimester. Not drinking enough water can cause a variety of pains or issues.

I used the babycenter one but it takes awhile to load. Honestly I didn't even use mine. I just looked at the time every time a contraction started. By the time it would take me to swipe into my phone and load up the app, the contraction would be half over. Yeah that is what I have noticed and I know mine are far apart but my doctor wants me to track on average how many bh/contractions that I actually feel a day.

I drank another huge glass of water when I got back to my office and I'm already down to 86 - so it definitely might be dehydration! Thanks everyone
