Still having some gross after effects of the Cytotec. I'm really nervous about our u/s next Monday - the pain really wasn't very severe for me. I obviously passed one large thing (and promptly had a meltdown because I assume it was TC) and just bled a lot. I took a couple of the painkiller just to get rid of the little bit of pain so I could sleep. They said that's what they expected for how far along I was, but I'm concerned that I'll have done all that and still have to get the D&C. We'll see what happens next week. Until then, we're just hanging out.

I'm glad you didn't have much (physical) pain, LMC. T&P for you for your ultrasound next week.

I'm so sorry LMC I have an appointment Friday to make sure I'm good to go for TTC when we're ready and to ask about the damn cruise. I'm hoping we can come up with a good plan together.

LMC Glad that the pain wasn't too severe and hoping that you don't have to do anything further. Lots of hugs.

I hate to keep whining. But I am real fucking sad today. I've been on the verge of tears most of the day.
For whatever reason, I googled adoption agencies in Pittsburgh today. Then I cried and closed out of all of them because I don't know that I'd ever actually be able to do it.
I'm all over the place today. I'm ready to go home. Luckily, DH has a meeting after work that he has to stay for so I can leave right around 5 like I want to.

I've been averaging 30-33 day cycles, and just when I think I have my body figured out, AF shows up on CD27. Sigh. The worst. I've been all over the place since going off the pill a year ago. It's never consistent and never makes sense.

My cycles also got freakishly short when I was TTC. I went from very, very regular 30 days (I had my period on the same day of the month +/- 1 day for years straight), to a very regular 28 days for a while, and then I had several 24-26 day cycles right before I was KU. I have no idea why, but it was the pits. Maybe all the frequent sex changed my cycle!
ETA: I was never on the pill, so this is just what happened naturally.

I had a LOT of pain again last night and this morning - The nurse I spoke with wanted to talk to the doctor and get back to me. She just called and said they want me to come in as soon as I can for an evaluation. I'm leaving here in 20 minutes. Hopefully it's nothing.

Holy hell that ultrasound was one of the most painful experiences of my life. I actually jumped halfway up the table at one point.
Waiting to talk to the doctor now.

They don't know what it is. They didn't see anything that could be dangerous though (no surprise second ectopic, no extra blood or fluid). So who knows what it is. Fuck. They want to do a blood draw to see if/how my hcg levels have gone down. But the cytotec seems to have gotten everything to pass.

Sorry for the pain LMC! I'm glad the ultrasound didn't show anything concerning and that everything is passed though. Hope you feel better and get more answers soon! Thinking of you!

Thanks everyone <3 I have to go back Monday just to make sure everything is ok. They did a beta today and said I probably wouldn't hear from them unless it was a super high level they'd be worried about.
She had my up my Motrin dosage, which I think is helping. Also I had a heating pad on my belly for a while in my office and my tummy and legs are now so sweaty. I am a gross human.

So apparently my blood type is O-. Makes me feel like a dick that I haven't donated blood in a really long time.
I have to go to the hospital to get a shot. Probably should have had it sooner. But.. I was still being treated, so.. I don't know, whatever. The point is, after a loss, apparently my body can create antibodies that would attack the blood of a baby if I became pregnant with a baby with a positive blood type. DH has no idea what his blood type is, so I'm going to get the shot.

DH has no idea what his blood type is, so I'm going to get the shot. I'm A- apparently (which I didn't know) and my doctor had me come in 2 days after my appointment to get the shot. H is O+ according to his mom. The research I did said the shot should be give within 72 hours of miscarrying...which makes me wonder if it'll even do anything for me? Because I got the shot a week ago (which was over a week since baby stopped developing) but I guess I haven't technically miscarried yet? idk. What I read said within 72 hours of BLEEDING.. but why does that make a difference if we already miscarried? But really, for me, I don't understand why they're having me do it. It's been 6 days since I started bleeding with the Cytotec. I'm waiting for a call back to see if there's even a point. Why leave work and go do this shot if it's not going to do shit?

HSG is put off until next cycle since my doctor will be away during the timeframe I need to have it done. H will wait until next cycle for his testing too. Oh no I'm sorry that they're pushing you back.

ok yeah, that's what I read too. I figured it was because the bleeding is what will actually introduce the Rh+ blood into your system, and cause you to form antibodies against it. Yeah but I am WAY past that. I mean, I'm happy to get it if it'll do something, but the internet tells me it's pointless.
