I'm right there with you @gildedcoyote.
H gave the green light, so I stopped BC this month to get used my cycle, but we are not seriously "trying" for a few months. Then he says, If it happens it happens as he would be so stressed out unless it just happens, rather than trying to make it happen. I on the other hand am more of the "planner" in the relationship. Not going to lie, I think I would freak out if it happened quickly.
I am freaking out about my face breaking out. How long after going off BC did you guys have issues with it and what are you using to help it? So far I am good but I had bad acne in my past and want to avoid that as much as I can. I have super sensitive skin, so I am hoping my daily routine will still work for me (I use clinique acne solutions).

Hugs to everyone struggling with timelines. It's hard to think about.
H and I actually had a fairly productive talk about our TTC timeline over the weekend and we're about on the same timeline at this point (starting sometime this winter). This, however, simultaneously excites and terrifies me. H got a new job and we're moving to a new state away from our family. H sees this as "hey, we'll finally be settled somewhere so it's a good time!" since we've always intended to move south before having kids. I'm ready just because I feel like I'm mentally at a place where I want kids to be a part of our life together, but the being away from family part feels terrifying. We live several hours from each set of parents now, but we'll live a plane ride away after the move. Oh, and that whole I need to find a new job now thing.
I feel that TTC is going to be a big ball of emotions.

I hate it when people just assume it's going to be easy. I know a lot of women who didn't/couldn't have biological children (my mom included), so I've always been really cautious about how I phrase things. I'm sorry

I read that even with the right timing typically you only have a 25% chance of getting KU. And for some women it's even less. Science.

Makes me bang my head wondering how people get knocked up left and right by accident and I'm here testing and tracking and scheduling sex and still getting BFNs.
